"Renew crew knocked it out of the park and exceeded expectations! They built a fence and a deck for us. We ran into a couple of unexpected costs when removing the old deck of some rotting wood on the house. They fixed that as well and did not price gouge us at all. They also replaced a window and built a retaining wall that tied into our project perfectly! They were quick, and very efficient, but did not sacrifice quality. Chris, the carpenter is exceptional! I worked construction for over a decade and have not seen a carpenter as good as Chris! Rob the owner was a pleasure to work with. Very knowledgeable in his field and had great vision. I seriously don’t think we could’ve found a better company to build our project. They also beat out other competitive bids and started within the week. We love our new deck and fence. Again we are blown away by the quality and attention to detail."

"Chad was so professional and involved us in every step of our crown molding project. The end result was a beautiful finished product. I would highly recommend him to anyone!"

"GREAT experience. Will hire John again in a minute to help with any project!"

"They showed up on time, worked quickly and did a first rate job. The price was right too. Would definitely rehire Sam."

"I hired this company to do deck repair not knowing whether it could be repaired or needed to be totally replaced. Nick and Joseph did an amazing job in blistering heat. Both very personable and willing to answer all my questions. The owner, Mark Kowertz, was very professional and gave me options/suggestions regarding condition of my deck and what could be saved and what needed to be replaced. Very reasonable in pricing. I have already recommended them to two other folks. You would not be wrong in giving them a call. I would highly recommend them."

"I will definitely be calling him back for other home projects! Very professional thank you!"

"Work was done as promised; when the work was complete, everything was cleaned up and left as it was before the contractor arrived."

"Essential Extras had already designed and installed a beautiful deck for us. They used Ipe wood and hidden fasteners as we had asked. The professionalism was amazing and so was the craftmanship. After a wind storm blew down a fence in our yard in the middle of winter I called them again and not only did they do a stellar job, but took great care to respect our neighbors and cleaned up our side and the neigbor's side of the fence as well. The craftmanship again was better than expected. I would recommend them to anyone and definitely hire them for any projects I might have involving wood. Bonnie Pearson"

"I hired Josh after interviewing 4 companies to sand down my entire deck and use a stripper, power wash off the stripper and apply 2 coats of stain/sealer. He was not the cheapest bid by far but I could tell he was the best one for the job because I wanted top quality work. You would be hard pressed now days to find someone who takes so much pride in their work to where I would almost call him a perfectionist! He also fixed a number of problem areas I had on my deck and made it look better & in one case more sturdy. Also added a hand rail and touched up a spiral staircase. I wish I had before and after pictures to attach because the difference is amazing. He also spent a lot of time staining a variety of colors across my deck so we could make the right color choice. The final choice was completely different than I originally planned. He then had to sand off all the colors he put out there before finishing. I also had him clean & seal my driveway/patio. He did a fantastic job on both."

"We are very happy with the work done by Mr. Handyman of N Kansas City. They power washed our home. We visited their office in Gladstone on a Monday and got an estimate and schedule for Wednesday the same morning. They showed up on time and did a great job. We highly recommend them."
