"Exceptional service! Responded on short notice and worked around my schedule. Great paint job reasonably priced. Did a great job replacing caulking and floor in kitchen. AWESOME cleaning job, especially the window blinds, windows and bath!! Highly recommend you call Mr. Mendez."

"The work was originally scheduled for Friday; however, Mr. Vazquez texted me early that morning to let me know that he would not be arriving at 8:00 as scheduled due to the rain. He said he could come later that day or Monday or Tuesday of the next week. I return texted that later Friday or Monday would work for me. When he didn't show up on Friday, I assumed he'd come on Monday but I wasn't 100% sure. Of course, I could have followed up myself. However, no worries. Rigo showed up early Monday and got right to work. I am very pleased with his skills, work ethic, and sharp eye to go above and beyond. He started inside on the kitchen ceiling but moved back and forth between the inside work and outside work. Letting the ceiling applications dry, while he worked outside. Efficient! Rigo also noticed my (ahem) less than professional spackling work in the kitchen over some screws and chips in the wall. He went ahead and fixed those up too. So much nicer! Rigo also pointed out that the garage wood had rotted because no flashing had been installed at the top. He ASKED if I wanted him to add that and asked if I wanted wood or that wood-alike that doesn't rot. Seems like small potatoes but I've certainly had others who did work and did not give me any info or options. Much appreciated. After he'd completed the outside work, Rigo borrowed a broom to sweep up. The kitchen was also quite clean. Obviously, I still need to do a good sweep, but it is much cleaner than I'd anticipated.
All in all, a job well done. Add in the Angie's List discount and I even give them an A on pricing.  This is the 4th or 5th company I contacted to fix the garage trim and the first who showed up. I thought I was jinxed. I've begun my list for spring - interior cracks in the stairwell and the trim around the basement windows. I will be hiring Vazquez and Son again.

"I am a developer in the DC area. They do all of my work. They are the most cost-effective and most reliable welding company in the area. The best quality work as well."

"This is the second project that Bobby Nesbitt of New Life has completed for us. He painted 2 bedrooms that hadn’t been painted in 30+ years. He explained the process in detail and went to work. He is meticulous and very neat. The final product is excellent. I will use New Life again."

"I was referred by a friend who had them install a composite deck. I had 3 contractors look at my deck to demo and replace with wood. They had a competitive price. They were done in 3 days! Short punch list which the owner had his men address. I would say Iâ m pretty picking but his men completed everything to my 100% satisfaction!!! I would definitely recommend â A PAIR OF HANDSâ !! It was a great experience to hire a honest contractor with professional people working with him! Oh, there was nothing for me to really clean up after! Thank you Rab!"

"The carpenter (working from a high ladder) replaced the rotted wood with new pieces (cut to fit), sealed the joints and restained the new pieces to match. It was a very professional job."

"This company did a great job in my house. They had to do painting patch work and moldings. They came out and gave an honest estimate and they got everything done with days to spare! When I arrived home everything was cleaned up. I give this company 10 Stars!!"

"Most pleased. Would definitely hire again. Needed carpenter to build a footbridge using repurposed wood, install insect screen under raised screen-in porch, install oak handrails, fix the threshold to our front door, and add shoe molding in basement. JW (owner) was pleasant, professional, and thorough when he came out to give an estimate. He listened to what we wanted done and suggested ways to make it work. Scheduling was a breeze. A team of two came out to complete our projects. Of course temperatures were in the 90s, but they worked nonstop. Pedro (crew chief) built our footbridge based only on description. The results were amazing. It's sturdy, attractive, and durable. Kudos for great work. Other projects were completed within the timeframe with Kevin working on the screen and railings with assistance from Pedro. The crew was timely, professional, courteous. They cleaned up at the end of each day. All work was completed within 4 days. There was only a minor issue with the oak hand rails (needed additional sanding) -- which was remedied quickly after review of the project manager, Bob. JW was a tad more expensive that other bids, but in the end, well worth the price. Glad we went with them."

"FAMB Construction was excellent!! They are one of the best carpenter/construction companies I have ever used. The owner, Noel, goes above and beyond and has a great work ethic! Their price is reasonavle and their work is awesome. I cannot recommend them enough!"
