"After unsuccessfully trying to remove wallpaper that had probably been on the walls for 30 years or more, I gave up and decided to find someone to do it. There were not a lot of options, but one site came up, 2nd Street Painting, so I emailed a request for estimate. Within minutes, the owner, Nate Garcier contacted me and offered to come by on Sunday, Dec. 31st. He came as scheduled, assessed, measured and gave me an estimate, followed by an emailed quote later that afternoon. Finding 2nd Street Painting was a stroke of luck. The work was done in three days, removing wallpaper, priming and repairing cracks and holes in walls and ceiling, and then painting. Workers arrived on time, got to work, and daily cleanup was fantastic. The crew was pleasant and when they ran into a snag, explained what was going on, how it was going to be remedied. They had to paint the continuation of a long wall, part of which had been painted earlier, and the match was perfect. You could not see any “seam”. When they left the work area was cleaner than it was when they started! Highly recommended!"

I recently moved from the state of Florida to Indiana in 2024, I've been doing masonry work for a little over 6 years now and the previous work I did before that I was a carpenter for 8 years a roofer for 6 years you can say I am a jack of all trades I love the work that I do and I'm hoping I will have the opportunity to work with some you lovely people of Indiana. "David painted 3 bedrooms with high ceilings and painted the window, closet, and door trims white (originally dark brown oak). He was pleasant to work with and he kept open communication throughout the entire project. He works diligently and is persistent in getting the job done well. I had to address some minor details, but David was excellent in getting those details taken care of in a very timely manner. At the end of the project, he assured me that the quality was up to his standard of approval and I would agree that it was excellent work.

"Mr. Reynolds came out the SAME DAY that I called, a Saturday.  It was a day of heavy rain and flooding (and therefore the leaks in the roof revealed themselves).  He had to drive far out of his way to get to me because of the flooding in his rural area, but he made it.  I was very grateful because my home was on the market, and I was fretting over the time and cost of roof repairs.  Mr. Reynolds checked out the roof and gave me a reasonable estimate that day; he honored the Angie's List coupon I had.  
I owned half a duplex, and he looked at my neighbors' side as well.  Their side also had soil pipes that needed to be replaced.  The neighbors half was also on the market.  Mr. Reynolds felt an inspector would cite the need for repairs.  I was able to let my neighbor know of the situation so he could check for leaks and not have an unpleasant surprise in his house during showings.
The repairs were completed a few days later.  PSR made the extremely inconvenient and untimely situation as painless as possible.
