"This review is well overdo. Frank and his team are a first class operation. They've done a great job with skim coating and painting the entire home, sanding/refinishing the stairs and floors that have 90 yr old original heart pine hardwood floors, landscaping work, installed new lighting and ceiling fans, fixing electrical wiring, addressing plumbing issues, restoration of a flooded basement, stucco repair, etc. You name it, I've hired Frank to help me fix the issues and he has done an amazing job every time. I've work with Frank for almost 8 years now, he is very responsive, professional, and pays close attention to detail. He is the first call I make anytime I need his help with my home."

"I had a water leak in my ceiling from my son having play time in the upstairs bathtub. Patch it up came by and offered a really good price and was able to get that done right away for me. My ceiling looks better than it ever did because they painted the entire ceiling for me. Highly recommend. Nice owner too!"

"We hired for a one time deep clean of our 3 bedroom house, 2 bath house that also included kitchen, living and dining room. They responded quickly, came out on time, and were very quick. Most important they paid a lot of attention to detail - didn't skip one inch!! And super nice and easy to work with. Great company would highly recommend."

FAQs for acoustic ceiling tiles install projects in Lafayette Hill, PA

A drop ceiling is a type of secondary ceiling that is dropped down below the actual ceiling of a room, hence the name. It’s made up of ceiling tiles (made of fiberboard, foam, wood, metal, or plastic) supported by a metal grid. The space between the drop ceiling and the structural ceiling can be used to hide wiring, pipes, and HVAC ducts.

Most drop ceiling installations take about two to three days, including the time needed to build the grid frame, install it, and place each ceiling tile properly. Your installation might take more time if you need to modify plumbing, HVAC ducts, or electrical wiring to accommodate the new ceiling.

Most drop ceilings require a clearance of at least three inches from the structural ceiling, though you’ll likely need more than that to make space for pipes, ducts, lights, fans, sprinklers, or wiring. In many places, building codes require a minimum ceiling height of seven feet, which can limit the amount of clearance you’ll have between your drop ceiling and structural ceiling.

Yes, you can paint a drop ceiling, but it’s not always recommended. Painting a drop ceiling can sometimes void your warranty because using improper paint or technique can cause the tiles to sag. Paint can also negatively affect the fire resistance, soundproofing, and light reflection of the panels. Consider these downsides before taking on ceiling painting costs.
