"The workmen did an excellent job and the owner ensured it was done right. They matched the color of our stucco nicely, so the areas that were fixed are not noticeable. They were neat leaving nothing behind for us to clean up afterwards.

"We recently terminated our cleaning service and hired another that didn't work out. I called Linda on Saturday to set up a schedule and she was able to come over that afternoon. She and another team member came on time and did an excellent job. Our houses is not huge and generally requires light housekeeping such as dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing, etc.and I am happy to have someone come over every other week to help us out. Linda and her team cleaned from top to bottom finding areas that had not been touched by our previous service. She is very friendly, pleasant, and professional. I am looking forward to having her service come to our home every two weeks. Great job, Linda!"

"Highly recommend! We had acoustic ceiling tiles installed, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. Chris answered all our questions and paid close attention to detail throughout the installation. The finished ceiling looks fantastic. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for quality ceiling installation and great customer service!"

"They were amazing! We’ve used them twice now and hope they are able to come back to do the rest of the floors. They are very professional and always start working the second they pull into the driveway. No stalling, procrastinating, or laziness. They work hard and the price is unbelievably fair for what they do."

"I turned to Angie’s List to find someone to do some excavation work & leveling for an above ground swimming pool. We purchased our pool in April and reached out to at least a dozen or more companies and they were all either no shows or no response (even after providing us with a quote). It has been beyond frustrating because it was now July and no pool!! So I called Daylon with Giddens & Assoc and immediately got a response back. He came out that same day to look at our property and go over the project. He spent well over an hour discussing our plans & ideas for the project and provided us with a quote by that same evening. We we’re very impressed with him and his enthusiasm for his work so we scheduled a date and a week later he and his crew showed up and knocked it out. He’s personable, punctual, responsive, knowledgeable, and dependable. He does exactly what he says he’s going to do, period! We are very pleased with Giddens & Assoc and would definitely recommend them in the future!!!"

"They are a nice provider. I talked to them on the phone for about 30 minutes and they sent some samples. We were able to get a discount on designer purchases but not useful on designing the space. Once we told them what we wanted, they were able to help purchase from the warehouse and save about $1,500. I think they became too busy with this big deal. You buy a ticket per room and we still actually have a couple left with this provider. After redesigning one room, we kind of ran out of steam and have not designed the other rooms. Overall this is a good service and it's a good concept. Whomever I spoke with, she was really nice. I would recommend this provider. This kind of service seems to be for people with time and knows exactly what they want. They are super helpful with the designer discount from the warehouse. They don't actual design your room which is slight flaw."

A drop ceiling is a type of secondary ceiling that is dropped down below the actual ceiling of a room, hence the name. It’s made up of ceiling tiles (made of fiberboard, foam, wood, metal, or plastic) supported by a metal grid. The space between the drop ceiling and the structural ceiling can be used to hide wiring, pipes, and HVAC ducts.
Most drop ceiling installations take about two to three days, including the time needed to build the grid frame, install it, and place each ceiling tile properly. Your installation might take more time if you need to modify plumbing, HVAC ducts, or electrical wiring to accommodate the new ceiling.
Most drop ceilings require a clearance of at least three inches from the structural ceiling, though you’ll likely need more than that to make space for pipes, ducts, lights, fans, sprinklers, or wiring. In many places, building codes require a minimum ceiling height of seven feet, which can limit the amount of clearance you’ll have between your drop ceiling and structural ceiling.
Yes, you can paint a drop ceiling, but it’s not always recommended. Painting a drop ceiling can sometimes void your warranty because using improper paint or technique can cause the tiles to sag. Paint can also negatively affect the fire resistance, soundproofing, and light reflection of the panels. Consider these downsides before taking on ceiling painting costs.
