"I wanted to upgrade some concrete around my house, I needed a new driveway, a wall and walkway. I was walking in my neighborhood one early Fall day, and I observed a crew of men doing concrete work. They had done two different jobs over a two-week period. I observed their work and it was striking. I asked the gentleman for a card and asked him to come look at my project. That crew was the Christopher Brother’s Concrete Co. The gentleman was Ed Bregman , the owner. He came promptly, and I described to him what I wanted him to do. He began to take measurements and make calculations. Once he finished, he came to the door asked us to come out and explained what he saw and what was the best approach to take preliminarily, but that he would go and take more calculations and put together a proposal. Mr. Bregman came the next day and explained in detail what needed to be done. We accepted. When they began the work I was impressed that Mr. Bregman was the first person there. That was every day throughout the completion of the project. He oversaw every aspect of the entire project. They worked every day until the project was completed. I could not have been more pleased and felt that they had done a fantastic job. We were impressed to such a degree that I asked him about the back of the house and what he thought it would take. I told him to keep us in mind for the following Spring. He put together another proposal which we accepted, we put in a new barbeque area, an extended concrete patio running the length of the back of our house as well as concrete steps going up to a terrace in the back yard. Once again, we were so pleased at the quality and detail of the work. Mr. Bregman was hands-on, (consistently the hardest working person on his crew) prompt, onsite early, working, demonstrating a complete understanding of each aspect of the task. His team worked every day until each job was completed. He was committed to the highest quality throughout and demonstrated it throughout both projects. For example, his team was constructing the base of the versa-lock wall that would serve as the foundation of the barbeque area. He was working on another portion of the project on the other side of the back of the house. They were well-along and he came and inspected their work. It looked fine to me but he was not pleased and had them start again. He wanted it to be right. I have had neighbors come and admire the work done on the front and back of my house. I had two friends that both were contractors, one working in new construction and the other an electric contractor, and both asked me who did my concrete work. They were impressed with the quality and attention to detail, assessing the craftsmanship that they observed. The quality of the Christopher Brothers work has not only increased the value of our home , but also the aesthetics. I have spent the last two summers having coffee on my new patio each morning, and enjoy the patio many times throughout other portions of the day."

"Rick and his team created swails and concrete wall to direct the storm water away from my house. This team of 4 young men with Rick were hard working and respectful. I didn't see them take a break for about 6 hours and the clean up was spot on. I'd hire Rick Page again in a heartbeat."

"Martin, Brandon, and Tony produced great results in terms of the Carbon Armor, Power Braces, drainage, and sump pump installation, and they did it all in two days in the middle of Winter, so I appreciate their dedication and workmanship. HOWEVER, there were a few things I was not thrilled about after all was said and done: First, they either forgot bags for their dust collection system or were having some other issue with it, which rendered it essentially useless. Rather than get bags from the hardware store or fix the issue, they continued on as normal, causing not only the garage, but the entire house to be filled with concrete dust. I was working from home that day and put on a mask when I noticed visibility decrease in my office. After the job was finished, my wife put all the exposed linens and clothes through the wash and had to "deep-clean" the house to remove the film of dust that settled onto everything. Second, they didn't use any sort of concrete saw to remove the old concrete for the drainage, just a jackhammer, so the line between the old and new concrete just does not look good. I hope to eventually redo the whole floor, anyway, so it's not the end of the world, but would have been nice to have straight lines in the meantime. Third, after they left, I noticed that the ceiling-mounted extension cord reel was unwound and hanging down a few feet, but I couldn't get it to wind back up. After taking it apart to fix it, I found that the cable was completely destroyed with wire actually exposed in some spots. I asked one of them about this and they said they never unwound it that far, so it couldn't have been their fault, but the security camera footage shows one of them unwinding it all the way, letting it wind up as fast as possible, getting it stuck, and then yanking on it until it shot sparks out! No wonder the GFCI was tripped! I had to throw that reel away, buy a new one, and install it. Fourth, I had to replace the handle on my garden hose spigot after they left. I'm guessing they didn't realize it was a quarter-turn valve and tried to open it past a quarter turn, stripping the stoppers on it. Not expensive to replace, but still annoying and I wish they would have mentioned it. Fifth, I was holding off on writing this review until I had a chance to call them and chat about these things, but was pleasantly surprised when THEY called ME to follow up before I got around to it! Unfortunately, I think the person on the phone was just hoping for an, "Everything is great," so she forwarded me to someone's voicemail to explain my complaints. That person never called me back, so I'm assuming that voicemail is essentially the trashcan labeled "Comment Box". Anyway, all the new hardware appears to be installed pretty well, the drainage and sump pump are working nicely, and I'm optimistic about the long-term results of it all the Carbon Armor and Power Braces, but there was certainly room for improvement regarding the job as a whole."

"Pete and his team were phenomenal. They totally transformed my yard adding. a boulder wall, lots of additional usable flat space and a fantastic design. Pete was very knowledgeable and had a great vision for my project and shared lots of ideas. The pricing was fair for the amount of work performed. The project was completed under budget and in a very timely manner. Pete and his team were reliable and got back to me quickly. I really appreciated the quality of the boulders so much that I had another contractor purchase boulders from Pete for my next project."

"I interviewed 3 people involving concrete and tying in a french drain and he explained everything in such a way that it was very detailed very good. I was so impressed with him that I have hired him for 5 other jobs. He goes above and beyond. Sometimes he'll tie in small jobs into the larger project. I wish all contractors were like him. He is there on sight himself which is very important. He does not leave your job for someone elses job. He will stay until your job is done. Everything is out in detail on the contract. No unhappy surprises with him."
