"After years of painting our home it was time to move up to a better solution. After searching the Better Business Bureau for local companies Krumwiede Home Pros stood out. They were top rated with 0 complaints. We were even able to initiate contact for a quote through the BBB. Michael was our salesperson and he was upfront and honest in capabilities and pricing. The pricing was so great we even upgraded to an insulated vinyl siding and we were still under what others quoted. We then met with Ross the production manager who went over every aspect of the job with us. This was great because we worked out any issues ahead of time. There were no surprises and we were all on the same page. The 2 gentlemen who came to do the work were great also. They showed up on time and worked hard everyday. They never left a mess and were easy to communicate with. We are very happy with the whole experience and our house looks awesome! Thanks Krumwiede Home Pros we are happy we met you!"

"We used Mad City Windows & Baths Home Improvement for our kitchen makeover. We contacted them after seeing an ad on Facebook on 8/04/25 and they came out to give us a quote. We decided to get new doors, drawers & handles and they ordered from the samples we were shown. Mike and his crew came on 9/2-9/04/25 and replaced our kitchen doors and drawers and they are definitely a nice improvement. We were definitely pleased with the quality and quick delivery of our order. They cleaned as they worked and there were no strong chemical smells which we appreciated because we have 2 cats who we kept in a bedroom while they worked. We will definitely be sharing our new kitchen with family and friends and encourage them to call Mad City for a quote on any home improvements. Great job, Mike and crew of Mad City! Thank you! Paul and Marlene Wright West Carrollton. OH"

"Matt and Celina were a pleasure to work with and produced top quality results. We did a full kitchen renovation and had pieces of two walls removed to open up some smaller-sized rooms. We got the dream kitchen my wife has only waited 30-plus years for, and it was worth the wait. Matt and Celina were very efficient, responsive, pleasant and punctual (much more likely to be early than late). Even during a pandemic, he was great at keeping the project moving forward. Definitely hope to hire them again."

"We hired Moore Custom Solutions to replace a shower and vanity in our bathroom as well as to remove and replace 5 interior doors. We are very happy with the way everything turned out. We had a tight timeline to get the work done and Shawn made it work. He works with competent and friendly professionals who make sure to do the job right. Shawn was in constant communication about the job always making sure I knew what was going on and making sure I was happy with his choice for various fixtures, etc. All of this while saying within budget. Will definitely hire again."

"They did a great job with the wallpaper in our powder room. I struggled to find someone to complete the job in our new construction so I ended up choosing them somewhat blindly. I was so happy with the end result! They were so efficient even with the correspondence back and forth. They were very accommodating as we had to push the date to accommodate our build timing. They made the whole thing quite seamless. I would definitely recommend."

"Forever Bath redesigned our master bathroom. Doubling the size of our walk in shower. They also installed a new double sink vanity with quartz tops. Installed new sub flooring and deluxe vinyl flooring. Their crew was easy to work with and made some changes for us on the spot. They managed to finish everything in one day. We are very happy with the results."

Butcher block countertops come in three main styles, each offering a unique look and function. Flat grain, also known as face grain, showcases the natural wood patterns, giving your kitchen a modern and elegant appearance. Edge grain is made from long, narrow wood strips, making it sturdy and providing a consistent grain pattern. End grain features a checkerboard pattern that is highly durable and perfect for heavy food preparation. Each style caters to different aesthetic preferences and usage needs, enhancing your kitchen's look and functionality.
With proper care, wood countertops can last anywhere from 20 to 100 years. To keep yours looking like new, clean up spills immediately and reseal the surface regularly—ideally once a month in the first year, then twice a year after that. Regular maintenance helps preserve the wood's beauty and durability for decades.
Wood countertops aren't hard to maintain if you keep up with regular care. Simply clean them with mild soap and water after use and reseal them monthly during the first year (then twice a year afterward). Using a food-grade oil or sealant protects the wood from damage. With a bit of routine maintenance, your countertop will stay beautiful and durable.
Wood countertops are sanitary with proper care and maintenance. By sealing them with a food-grade sealant and cleaning them regularly with mild soap and water, you create a barrier that prevents bacteria from getting into the wood. Always dry the surface thoroughly after cleaning to keep it hygienic and safe for food prep.
It's best to oil raw wood countertops once a month during the first year. After that, you can oil them twice yearly to keep them in good shape. If your countertop is professionally stained or sealed, you might not need to oil it as often. Regular oiling helps prevent drying and cracking, preserving the wood's natural beauty and durability.
