"The job included three tasks of which only two were done. The third (smoothing countertop) wasn't done at all. However, I didn't get any break from the charge which was quoted for the three tasks. When I paid them $300 more to apply sealer on stone surfaces, water marks were not removed first."

"After their great work with the popcorn ceiling removal, we hired them to redo our bathroom. It turned out to be a gut renovation. They did a beautiful job! Great craftsmanship from all fronts - plumbing, electrical, and tile work. They were very professional, showed up when they promised, and finished the work in a reasonable amount of time. "The landscaping came out beautiful. When you hire Starkie Bros. you get the platinum package every time. We used them 21 years ago to do the pavers and landscape around the pool in the yard. We were extremely happy then as we are now. He even had several of the same workers and they remembered working on our yard. He also did our front walkway in pavers a couple of years ago. I would definitely recommend John Starkie!"
