"Everything went well initially. Countertop looked great. However, when I told the man in charge to remove the remainder off of my deck, he was obviously annoyed. I had told when he was taking it out that I only wanted ONE piece of the countertop left with me and showed him the piece I wanted. He had an obvious attitude and then went out to his truck and made me wait another 30 minutes to return to take it. They left a mess under the countertops (crumbled countertop, etc.) although they did sweep my floor. When I really looked at it afterwards, I notice that they cracked my backsplash and didn't tell me. Also, the plumber was great who came a couple of hours late, however, he told me the countertop crew had thrown away a part I needed to hook my garbage disposal back up so I had to give him $30 to replace it. Atila, the salesman/owner was wonderful during the sale process and very responsive. However, I was expecting a follow up call which didn't happen. The price was good for the work that was done."

They have very competitive prices and really stand out by offering a free sink and free installation. The two gentlemen that did my installation were absolutely wonderful. They were meticulousand ensured everything was level and properly supported prior to laying the granite. They laid drop cloths and cleaned behind themselves as they went. I will certainly be recommending this company to anyone looking to purchase granite countertops.

"I was interested in getting consultation on kitchen design options for a planned renovation of my kitchen. I wanted to learn what options in regards to the layout and design were possible so I could have those in mind as I budget for my kitchen renovation down the line. Before purchasing the deal I called Chevy Chase Remodeling to make sure that the Angie's List Deal would be able to address my need to have design options outlined once they came out to assess and measure the space. I was assured this was part of the deal. I requested the consultation to be with Steve, the owner, and scheduling was easy: they provided me appointment options to accommodate my schedule. Steve was prompt, and professional. His discussion about the kitchen design evidenced he is highly knowledgeable. Two options were discussed: breaking down one wall to create an island that would be visible as one enters the front door, or breaking down more walls and relocating the powder room to entirely reconfigure the first floor. The former layout I declined given I do not like the idea of seeing the kitchen as one walks in the front door, and the latter was too expensive for me at this time. Steve said his design person would work on an alternate design option. Upon leaving I double-checked I'd be able to go back and forth with the person doing the drawings/planning to explore options in regards to the design, and was told this would be possible. When I received the 3-d drawings the design provided is basically the same as what I currently have. In several phone calls with the office about my concern in regards to the design service - that the end result was a drawing of my existing layout - I enquired as to the Deal and the promise of discussing design options I was told they no longer had the measurements. I spoke with Steve and he was understanding of my concern and suggested I send him measurements I had made myself. I chose not to do so as I was sure my measurements would not be accurate enough for rendering an alternate design nor to finesse more modest reconfigurations of the kitchen design if that was all that was possible. He was forthcoming in refunding me the $99 for the design fee."
