"I didn't end up using Marco Polo Construction only because I was able to secure a special loan for wheelchair accessibility work that required me to use another contractor who was registered with the Office of Disabilities but otherwise I would have definitely used Marco. He was very professional and responsive and actually came to our apartment (not the new home we are having renovated to accommodate my son's wheelchair) in the evening to give me the detailed estimate and to bring samples of material options. He provided photos of possible windows that might work well as well as different samples of siding that I might consider. When he came to do the estimate, he took very detailed notes and measurements. His receptionist/office assistant was very helpful and pleasant. I would definitely use him in the future. I particularly appreciated his responsiveness and his professionalism.

"Steve is a fantastic craftsman of fine built in cabinets. We worked with Steve to design and construct 4 spaces in the home - a new mudroom, a new basement kitchen in a newly built entertainment space, a new basement mudroom and bathroom. We chose a different look in each space - stained walnut, lacquered wood with gold inlay, and painted wood - he did a phenomenal job throughout the home. Steve is patient and kind, and a good listener to understand what the client wants. He worked relentlessly to make sure the color matched my expectations on wood he stained. His hardware and hardware installation is impressive - all of my cabinets are functioning beautifully 2 years later with zero misalignment occurring. He is creative - added a hidden cubby in my mudroom wall paneling! I am so thrilled with his craftsmanship and hope to use him again if i can get around to redoing the last 4 rooms wit plumbing they haven’t been done since the house was built."
