"I contacted The Builders &Cleaners of CT for a gutter cleaning. I was able to get an appointment for the very next day of my phone call. Initially I didn?t get an answer and I?m not big on leaving messages for a service but David promptly returned my call. He was pleasant and accommodating and I was able to get an appointment the next day. They showed up as scheduled and was quick and thorough. They even provided pictures of the finished work. "I called for a quote when shopping around for my exterior paint/stain project. Leoâ s price was competitive but I ultimately went with another company since I had received their quote first. That was a mistake. I called Leo to see if he had availability to come look at fixing the job that the first company started. The first company had failed to sand any of the trim and the paint was immediately peeling after day 1. Leo came right out, looked at the job once more and his team started the next day. They took their time and did a great job with the prep work and fixing what the first company had done. This was not a three day project like the first company was aiming for. They really took their time and did it correctly. He also guided me in selecting which colors should be used in certain areas. My home looks brand new. I would recommend Challenger Construction for any and all painting needs."

"I have cabinet space under my kitchen sink that holds my trash and recycling containers, along with some cleaning products. The bottom of the pullout cabinet broke, so I hired Matthew Rose Carpentry to rebuild the cabinet portion. He not only rebuilt it, he added two wooden partitions in back of my trash and recycling containers to better hold up my cleaning products, which used to tip over at times when I opened the cabinet. The cabinet now does a 'soft close,' which I never had before. Great job! He also replaced the door threshold to the main entrance of my home. Very nice work. And he's very pleasant and easy to work with. You'll be pleased, both by his demeanor and the quality of his work."
