Before starting, he helped us deciding the material by providing quotes using cedar and composite. We decided to use cedar for both deck and pergola, and we love how it came out. Jim was very responsive during the design phase. So, we could finalize the design and start construction. At that point we had a tight schedule because of guests visiting during summer. Once drawings were prepared (separate service) and village permits were cleared, the work was scheduled and completed in just over one week. The concrete footings were well made and clean. The rail cap was shaped and cut to be functional and provide a good appearance. Composite facia boards were used to present a neat and clean overall installation. Jack and his team are great deck builders and I would recommend their work to all. The deck is approximately 18'x13'."
