He answered my call and was at the house the next morning. Even showed up a few minutes early, whenâ s the last time you had a contractor do that? We had a drawn-out debate with our insurance company about coverage (they declined to get involved, naturally) and Noah was patient and helpful the entire way through. When they declined to assist, he made sure to work the bill to a number we could manage. His crew showed up on time, friendly, clean, and efficient. They put in a 12-hour day to make sure they got everything done as fast as they could so they could start drying the place out. One poor guy got saddled with 3+ hours of air chiseling the old vinyl tile up, but they still left with a smile. Every call and text was answered immediately or returned within minutes, day or night, weekend or not. All work was done to fit into our schedule. They were more than cooperative in helping make sure we knew exactly what was and wasnâ t salvageable, cleanable, etc. When the bill came due, Noah made sure to rework the invoice so we could split it over check and credit card payment. While I canâ t say the basement flood is an experience I enjoyed, working with Noah and his team was beyond an A+ experience. "The work was messy but The crew was very hard working. The jackhammer hit a pipe under our sink. They came back to fix that. While the amount of water was drastically reduced in our basement, I will never feel secure enough to finish it. They have returned 4-5 times to troubleshoot the problem because their service has a lifetime guarantee. The last time they came (2 years after original job) they added another sump pump and redug one of the ditches. It seems to have helped but I still see a very small amount of water seeping through a few cracks in the floor. With two small kids in the house, it's exhausting to keep having service people in and out of your house. I'm not happy it took so many visits, but I think overall that they were fairly quick in responding to my calls and getting out to our house."

Kevin came out quickly with his drywall pro to give an estimate, provided a detailed estimate, and was able to adjust the schedule to add in some electrical work that we wanted. They started the job on time and completed it in the window we scheduled. There was a very minor detail that needed looking into after the job was complete and they handled it perfectly the next day. The quality of the work was great -- they tore down and replaced a ceiling. We've worked with other contractors and handyman services for small and big jobs and this company is one we'd definitely work with again (which we can't say about others)."

"We had a basement leak problem from a crack in the basement wall. CSR was contacted through HowmAdvisor. CSR responded immediately and gave us a high sense of security all the way. They are a very professional family owned company and excellent communicators. They sent us videos of their work progress since we live 100 miles from our house in the Poconos. Their price was the best and their workmanship even better. We will use them again if the need arises."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
