The most important qualities I seek in anyone that does work on my house, especially those that do work inside my house, are honesty, dependability, and quality of work. About the project: I thought I would be spending my day doing some tile work, removing tiles, regrouting them, etc. I went to Home Depot to get some advice and pick out tiles. One piece of advice I got was to look under the house to make sure the shower wasn't leaking through to the floor. I went home, checked underneath our pier and beam house, and saw the entire subfloor under the shower was soaked. I realized this was not something I could do. I got on HomeAdvisor to look for some help. David called me that Sunday night, while the Saints were playing, and within minutes of me submitting my HomeAdvisor request. He asked me about whether or not I filed a homeowner's claim, suggesting that I should consider my deductible and the amount of damage. David quickly assessed the damage and installed equipment to start drying out this part of the house.
