"Hello, The electrician who came to my home was Ilya from RVA Electrical Services. I would love to provide a glowing review for RVA Electrical Services. Ilya responded to my request for contact within minutes and was here the same day to give me an estimate which was very reasonable to reinstall my chandelier that had been pulled from the ceiling. He spotted the fact that the fixture was never installed with a box according to code originally and he fixed everything the same day. Then he gave me a very reasonable estimate for replacing 4 defective halogen recessed lights in another room and returned the following week to do that work. While he was there, he installed two new switches including a dimmer switch for the recessed LED lights and he did that for free. The fixtures he chose and installed so quickly and neatly are great and the dimmer seems in dispensable now. He had to open our electrical service board to turn off the service while installing the switches and showed me all the things that were not done according to code the last time we had that replaced. He gave us an estimate for replacing the board and I know we will call him when we are ready to do that. He is a very nice person, does great work in record time for a good price and is very neat. I'm so glad we found him through Angie's List."

"This company is the one stop shop for EV charger installation. They did a great job, they will also help you contact the county to file for the proper permit, and provide you information about any tax credits you may be entitled to."

"Our Pronto Pro has done a number of small and large jobs around our house and yard; fence, roof, shed, door repairs, made our fence gates work smoothly and installed a doggie door. All work is high quality and he really cares about our satisfaction. He has offered suggestions on how to address issues and taken time to explain pros and cons of various solutions. He is a professional, experienced and excellent carpenter who takes pride in his work and is dedicated to all the details. He works very hard, keeps everything neat and is efficient and kind. We have hired him multiple times. I would not hesitate to recommend Pronto to friends."

"Adam and Steven faced a major task installing a very large and heavy chandelier in a double-storied entry hall. They worked very well as a team, from the heavy lifting to adding the final crystals. All of this was done 18 feet up a ladder with a fully decorated Christmas tree just below them. Excellent job to both of them. They also moved around a light fixtures and ceiling fan and the related switches and outlets so we could swap a couple rooms around. Very courteous and considerate service. Thank you!"

A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
