"We remodeled our kitchen with Gaetaway Electric, and let me say how impressed and pleased we are! Not only was Jacob professional, but he was also very communicative and detailed with every step. He is very knowledgeable in the electrical field, and gave us several different options and ideas. We were very hesitant on remodeling because we knew that with a lot of contractor work, it can take longer than what is expected. But Jacob was sure to finish on time, and we didnâ t experience any delays! We truly feel that this is a passion to Jacob, and he definitely goes above and beyond, and it shows in his work. Not only will he be our go to person for any of our electrical needs, but we have already referred him to our family and friends! Hands down, excellent service!!"

"We recently had Mega Power Electric Inc install a solar system and panels. The President and provided excellent communication all the way through the process. He even met with us after installation to explain the almost incomprehensible PG&E bill. Although not the least expensive bid, his was competitive and I felt he was as interested in educating me about solar and the various types of panels and inverter systems as he was in selling a system. He demonstrated how the array of panels would meet our energy needs and as opposed to some of the other companies, wasn't selling us more than we needed. We are very satisfied with our solar system and I highly recommended Mega Power Electric Inc."

"Great communication, replied promptly, did work quickly & cleaned up afterwards. Reasonable, Upfront cost & worked around my schedule. Installed new outlet in my bathroom & covered an outlet that was partially obstructed by a bookcase & installed a new one that I can use next to it. I will hire again! for future electrical work!"

"We hired Gary in January to upgrade the writing in our garage, which he did successfully. The second half of the writing project between the house and the garage remains unfinished. Overhead lights in the kitchen were replaced, but didn't finish replacing the lights in the hall. One light in the kitchen has been blinking and we haven't been able to show him to find out why. His work is good, he is a nice guy, it's just we are 't has been difficult to get back. We call, three times we have waited for his arrival and then he didn't arrive. Now it's mid-March and we are still mid project. Going out today to find someone to finish the job.

FAQs for electrical service projects in Soledad, CA

Always start by confirming the pro’s license number, insurance coverage, and experience level. Visit the electrician’s website, scan recent customer reviews, and verify credentials with your local labor department. Request proof of liability insurance and at least two references that you can contact. These quick checks take only a few minutes but go a long way toward ensuring safe, code-compliant work and protecting your home in the event of an issue.

Grouping several electrical jobs into one appointment means you pay a single service-call fee and one set of travel expenses. Instead of asking a pro to return three separate times for outlets, switches, and fixtures, have everything tackled in one visit. The electrician stays productive, and you avoid extra trip charges, often shaving a sizable chunk off the final bill without compromising quality.

DIY electrical work can be dangerous and, in many areas, illegal without a license. One miswired connection risks shocks, fires, or expensive damage. Licensed electricians carry the right tools, follow local code, and know how to shut down power safely before they start. Hiring a pro may cost more upfront, but it protects your home, family, and insurance coverage in the long run.
