Small jobs welcome
"Our builder had installed an open drainage ditch in our back yard. Over the years, it had deteriorated and was very unsightly. We needed someone who could remove the existing rock, install a catch drain and piping, then back fill the ditch and grade to the surrounding slope. After much research, I called Brandon. He came out the next afternoon and gave us a quote for exactly the amount I was hoping for. We scheduled the job for the next Saturday. They showed up early, with the right equipment, knowing exactly what needed to be done, and quickly proceeded to complete the project to our complete satisfaction. Brandon says the job isn't finished until the customer is satisfied. That is a true statement. We would highly recommend Brandon and his company for any grading, drainage, or piping need."

"I hired Transformers Landscaping for leaf removal last fall and they did a great job clearing my property and outperformed the previuos company I used. I also hired them to cut back and shape two large holly bushes at the ends of my house. Once again, excellent work and professionalism. Once they finished the work they sent pictures to ensure the work was completed to my satisfaction. I recommend Transformers for any of your landcapping needs."

"Mike arrived on-time to our agree to time and date. He did an excellent job in removing two 14 ft. trees and digging out the roots. Mike removed all the cut limbs and roots then loaded them on his truck and hauled them to the dump. He also cleaned up the area after he finished the job."

"They did a great job! My roof looks great! Reliable and kept me well informed about everything. They kept cost in mind and cleaned up nicely after themselves. Serge even came out late to tarp the roof until it could get repaired so that I didnâ t have any further damage to the house waiting for the roof. They were very nice to work with. Great people. I canâ t say enough good things about them!"

"Sam and his team did an absolute phenomenal job on our recent property project. We hired them for land clearing, grading, and forestry mulching, and the results exceeded our expectations. From start to finish, Sam and his crew went above and beyond to ensure everything was done perfectly. Their forestry mulching left the property looking clean and usable, and the grading work was top-notch. They are professional, efficient, and clearly take great pride in their work. If you need any land management or clearing done right, look no further than Timberclaw. We couldn't be happier with the outcome!"

"Michael's crew cleared a large drainage area, 80' X 32' X 10'deep. It was filled with overgrowth of tall weeds, poison sumac, poison ivy, and tangled vines that had taken over a large area. They placed a black cloth on the whole area and then lined it with rocks. After placing the rocks they seeded and spread straw over the entire area where their equipment and rocks were. Even tho we changed our minds twice about what we wanted to do with that area, Michael always responded quickly and was very patient, He did not rush us to make a decision until we were ready. We are very pleased with the work done by Trinity Land Services and would definitely hire them again. They were all professional and worked steadily in the heat."

Depth depends on the type of installation and the regulations in your area. Water supply lines typically require 24 inches, while drainage pipes are often installed 36 inches below grade. For most general projects, a depth of 12 to 24 inches and a width of about eight inches is sufficient. Sticking to these specs keeps your utilities safe, code-compliant, and easier to maintain later.
When you need to run utilities underground, you’ve got two main options: boring or trenching. Boring employs directional drilling to install utilities without exposing a continuous channel, while trenching requires excavating an open channel to place utilities securely. Directional drilling preserves landscape integrity, whereas trenching provides direct access for installation, albeit with greater surface disruption. This clear comparison helps you select the method best suited to your project.
Plan on 12 hours to dig 100 linear feet when the soil is cooperative and you can work continuously. This timeframe applies when work is performed consistently and methodically. Factors such as rocky soil, tree roots, obstructions, and frozen ground increase the overall duration, demanding extra planning and effort. Comprehensive operational planning ensures that every challenge is managed efficiently and the project is completed on schedule.
If you want your yard to look untouched, laying fresh sod over the trench is the quickest fix. New sod needs 30 to 45 days to root and blend with the rest of your lawn. A local sod pro can provide you with a firm timeline and tips to ensure the grass takes hold and maintains your curb appeal.
