"The workers were hard working. Did a great job. The only concern we had was the lack of attention to the workers: no porta potty and no machinery to help carry the heavy concrete. Still waiting for the $250 gift card reward, lol!"

"Immediate call back when requested quote, and great service. Crew workers are hard working and respectful. The work performed went way beyond the basics... from cutting down 3 ft weeds, removing debris, spraying for weed control, trimming under bushes, cleaning up edges of flower bed, and then spreading bark. I would hire them again, and recommend this company ?."

"We hired Jared to help with an addition to our home. He was accurate in his bid and timeline for completion. There were no surprises along the way with exception of the fact he was honest, diligent and the pride he takes in his craft is apparent in the quality of his work. It was a pleasant surprise to see that contractors like this really do still exist. If you are looking to have some construction work done, I wouldn't make a final decision on a contractor without looking at your project and talking to Jared first."

"I hired Kody to excavate and gravel my half-dirt, half-grass, pothole filled driveway. In a 3-day time period he came out, did an estimate (on his day off) and completed the job! He is very professional, timely, courteous, responsive to my needs and always kept in contact. He was referred to me by my brother and I have no regrets! I will definitely refer him to anyone that needs this type of job done. Thanks again Kody & Mike!!"

"Had them come out to Demo a 40 yr oldl4k sqft Log Home with a full basement and also clear and level roughly a 50'x80' track of land of stumps for new construction. They did an amazing job and were very flexible and accomodating. They handled working wth the local Utility (WOE) to disable the power, the Transfer station to handle waste removal, and even worked with us and our neighbors to salvage lumber and logs from the home for future projects. The stumps and roots from the land clearing they even accomodated dropping them in the burn area on the far side of the property for us saving us days worth of work. Highly recommend them for any Demo or Land Clearing projects that you have."

"I was surprised with how well he handled the excavator in removing various sized trees and breaking a trail- all for a good value! When my son needed trees cleared I referred him to Chantz. My son was also very pleased with his job. Iâ m having Chantz return to build a road, remove more trees, prep driveways, trench and lay sewer lines for several homes. I highly recommend!"
Depth depends on the type of installation and the regulations in your area. Water supply lines typically require 24 inches, while drainage pipes are often installed 36 inches below grade. For most general projects, a depth of 12 to 24 inches and a width of about eight inches is sufficient. Sticking to these specs keeps your utilities safe, code-compliant, and easier to maintain later.
When you need to run utilities underground, you’ve got two main options: boring or trenching. Boring employs directional drilling to install utilities without exposing a continuous channel, while trenching requires excavating an open channel to place utilities securely. Directional drilling preserves landscape integrity, whereas trenching provides direct access for installation, albeit with greater surface disruption. This clear comparison helps you select the method best suited to your project.
Plan on 12 hours to dig 100 linear feet when the soil is cooperative and you can work continuously. This timeframe applies when work is performed consistently and methodically. Factors such as rocky soil, tree roots, obstructions, and frozen ground increase the overall duration, demanding extra planning and effort. Comprehensive operational planning ensures that every challenge is managed efficiently and the project is completed on schedule.
If you want your yard to look untouched, laying fresh sod over the trench is the quickest fix. New sod needs 30 to 45 days to root and blend with the rest of your lawn. A local sod pro can provide you with a firm timeline and tips to ensure the grass takes hold and maintains your curb appeal.
