"ENTECH did an oil tank removal for me which is a multi step process with the town and EPA and heavy equipment. It was buried in my front lawn with plantings all around it and oil left in the tank. In the middle, covid 19 shut down the procedure for two months. They handled all the paperwork and headaches. They couldn t have done a more professional job. They did a perfect job of staging the excavation so there was no damage to lawn and plantings. They handled all the delays, rescheduling, and paperwork. They kept their very fair price. I think ENTECH is probably the best contractor I ever hired."

"I was extremely satisfied with the quickness of responding to my inquire for quote. Upon meeting Jose he impressed me with his willingness to explain my options, he patiently listened to my concerns and answered all my questions regarding a huge issue regarding a previous contractor, which Jose assured me they would be able to correct. Upon agreeing to a price, he and his foreman visited the following day to review the plans and the crew arrived two (2) days later. During the project there were a couple of small hiccups however there were quickly addressed and resolved. Through the entire process from getting the quote to completion Jose always made himself available. Another amazing fact is, the project was completed AHEAD of schedule only because the crew worked tirelessly. I have one more project next year and Jose and his crew are the people I will depend on to get it done correctly."

"They came out quickly during an A/C emergency on a very hot day and fixed it up immediately for a reasonable price given the urgency. I would recommend Chambers again in a heartbeat and will be working with them for a quote on improvement work to prevent future issues!"

Depth depends on the type of installation and the regulations in your area. Water supply lines typically require 24 inches, while drainage pipes are often installed 36 inches below grade. For most general projects, a depth of 12 to 24 inches and a width of about eight inches is sufficient. Sticking to these specs keeps your utilities safe, code-compliant, and easier to maintain later.
When you need to run utilities underground, you’ve got two main options: boring or trenching. Boring employs directional drilling to install utilities without exposing a continuous channel, while trenching requires excavating an open channel to place utilities securely. Directional drilling preserves landscape integrity, whereas trenching provides direct access for installation, albeit with greater surface disruption. This clear comparison helps you select the method best suited to your project.
Plan on 12 hours to dig 100 linear feet when the soil is cooperative and you can work continuously. This timeframe applies when work is performed consistently and methodically. Factors such as rocky soil, tree roots, obstructions, and frozen ground increase the overall duration, demanding extra planning and effort. Comprehensive operational planning ensures that every challenge is managed efficiently and the project is completed on schedule.
If you want your yard to look untouched, laying fresh sod over the trench is the quickest fix. New sod needs 30 to 45 days to root and blend with the rest of your lawn. A local sod pro can provide you with a firm timeline and tips to ensure the grass takes hold and maintains your curb appeal.
