"Amazing! He worked all day and did everything he said he would for the quoted price. They cleaned up and I’m pretty sure they even weeded behind my shed. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend."

"These guys were awesome! They arrived on time and had a large crew with clean and updated machinery. Before the crew cut my trees and bushes they took the time to explain what they were going to do BEFORE cutting which I really appreciated! The owner Jon answered all of my questions and was very patient and knowledgeable. The crew also explained to me how to monitor the health of my trees in the future which is very important to me since this is the first house + yard I’ve owned and have never had to take care of so many trees. The crew cleaned up my yard when they were finished and left it spotless. They also were able to avoid marking up any of the grass and moved all of my furniture back as well. They also unhooked all of the cords connected to my house prior to any of the cutting and trimming and re-hooked all of them back perfectly. I appreciated Big Twigs for their punctuality, professionalism, and knowledge about the health of my trees and how they took care of my house + yard throughout the trimming process and post care as well. I would definently hire Big Twigs again!"

"Gave reasonable bid to locate and replace 100" drain line. Came when scheduled, quickly located and replaced old line that was filled with tree roots. When finshed cleaned up and leveled area that had been dug up. I will definitely use Straight Line Trenching for their services in the future."

"Dirt Movers was very responsive when I first contacted them. They took a look at my job within a day or two of me contacting them, even though I said I was away and I wanted to do the work while I was out of town. They gave me a quote very shortly after and it was a competitive quote. They brought in about 30 yards of dirt to my backyard (if I recall correctly) and graded it to my specifications. I also ended up using them to seed the backyard and they seeded it with straw after and within the two weeks before I came home, with regular watering from our gardener, I actually had a pretty green backyard! They did a great job. They were careful, texted me photos and were very good communicators. I would trust them entirely."

"We had some sewage back up into our basement sink on a Saturday morning. I called Clog Busters based on their Angie’s List reviews. They didn’t have a crew available on the weekend, but were available on the following Monday. The crew did a great job explaining the problem and finding a solution for me. Great customer service and they earned their money working in some frigid and snowy weather. I hope to never have another sewer backup, but if I do, I will call Clog Busters."

"The entire experience with Pool Busters was first rate-timely and quality performance of all aspects of the contract, done with a committed and caring attitude. The project was started before the scheduled date, and was completed in approximately three working days, including all necessary clean-up. I have been dealing with contractors of all types in my profession for more than fifty years, and this was one of my very best experiences.

Depth depends on the type of installation and the regulations in your area. Water supply lines typically require 24 inches, while drainage pipes are often installed 36 inches below grade. For most general projects, a depth of 12 to 24 inches and a width of about eight inches is sufficient. Sticking to these specs keeps your utilities safe, code-compliant, and easier to maintain later.
When you need to run utilities underground, you’ve got two main options: boring or trenching. Boring employs directional drilling to install utilities without exposing a continuous channel, while trenching requires excavating an open channel to place utilities securely. Directional drilling preserves landscape integrity, whereas trenching provides direct access for installation, albeit with greater surface disruption. This clear comparison helps you select the method best suited to your project.
Plan on 12 hours to dig 100 linear feet when the soil is cooperative and you can work continuously. This timeframe applies when work is performed consistently and methodically. Factors such as rocky soil, tree roots, obstructions, and frozen ground increase the overall duration, demanding extra planning and effort. Comprehensive operational planning ensures that every challenge is managed efficiently and the project is completed on schedule.
If you want your yard to look untouched, laying fresh sod over the trench is the quickest fix. New sod needs 30 to 45 days to root and blend with the rest of your lawn. A local sod pro can provide you with a firm timeline and tips to ensure the grass takes hold and maintains your curb appeal.
