"I was in a pinch on two different occasions and just when I thought I wouldn’t meet my inspection deadline I called up A&W and spoke with Wyatt explained to him that I had other contractors flake out on me and I had week to get two weeks of work done before final inspections and the next day he was out there and got the job done with such short timeframe. You want quality and work done right call up A&W and ask for Wyatt."

"Before I got a hold of these guys, I was having terrible time locating someone to clear my land. I must have called 5 different places and no one called me back. Another company quoted me something that was the cost of a new car. Another company said it would be a couple months wait. Someone told me about somebody on Facebook that turned out to be a little sketchy. Anyway these guys had a great price, they started it within a few days and they finished it a couple days later."

"Found company and coupon on Angie's list for $39 plus parts. Easy to schedule and they honored the coupon. Arnold was the technician and he brought technician. Both very professional and competent. Arnold showed me significant deterioration of the bottom of the air handler box. Over 20 years old. Already knew it was past its useful life. Asked him to quote a replacement and upgrade. He submitted two products, both very competitive pricing. I ended up with the more expensive, as I want variable speed fan for energy efficiency. I did purchase the replacement and look forward to seeing this team again when it arrives. Highly recommend this company for HVAC. FYI add on Angie's says they do plumbing, which they no longer do. Also asked for price to replace exhaust, which they don't do as they say mostly electrical. So it's only a HVAC company now."

FAQs for excavation projects in Saint Cloud, FL

Depth depends on the type of installation and the regulations in your area. Water supply lines typically require 24 inches, while drainage pipes are often installed 36 inches below grade. For most general projects, a depth of 12 to 24 inches and a width of about eight inches is sufficient. Sticking to these specs keeps your utilities safe, code-compliant, and easier to maintain later.

When you need to run utilities underground, you’ve got two main options: boring or trenching. Boring employs directional drilling to install utilities without exposing a continuous channel, while trenching requires excavating an open channel to place utilities securely. Directional drilling preserves landscape integrity, whereas trenching provides direct access for installation, albeit with greater surface disruption. This clear comparison helps you select the method best suited to your project.

Plan on 12 hours to dig 100 linear feet when the soil is cooperative and you can work continuously. This timeframe applies when work is performed consistently and methodically. Factors such as rocky soil, tree roots, obstructions, and frozen ground increase the overall duration, demanding extra planning and effort. Comprehensive operational planning ensures that every challenge is managed efficiently and the project is completed on schedule.

If you want your yard to look untouched, laying fresh sod over the trench is the quickest fix. New sod needs 30 to 45 days to root and blend with the rest of your lawn. A local sod pro can provide you with a firm timeline and tips to ensure the grass takes hold and maintains your curb appeal.
