"Chris is very professional, friendly, and talented. Chris is much more than a stump grinding service. In addition to effectively grinding huge palm tree stumps, he met us at the nursery and helped us select palm tree replacements and delivered and handled the entire installation process. He further graded large sections of our property and applied sod to finish the job. Chris arrives on time and did everything that he said that he would do and was an overall pleasure to work with."

"This is the third job I have used Sawgrass for. In this case they repaired damage caused by a previous contractors shoddy work. Work included removing pool cage, siding, repair leaks around windows, replace wood rot caused by leaks, replace and paint siding, replace pool cage. In all three jobs Sawgrass has done for me they did what they said they would do, on the schedule they provided, for the cost they quoted the quality of the work was excellent. They say they stand behind their work. I take them at their word but as each job has been done properly the first time I have not had to call them back to correct anything. Communication during the job was excellent including numerous pictures throughout the project. I would highly recommend them."

"I couldn t have been more pleased by their work. Due to a burst pipe they removed and replaced a cabinet, replaced about 17 linear feet of drywall, reused the granite and no damage to tiled backsplash. They also installed pull out shelves in the cabinets. I had them back for a 2nd job installing a 7ft stainless steel backsplash to my outdoor kitchen. Great work and they cleaned up their work space. Highly recommend them."

"Nico is the most professional contractor I have worked with in years. He shows up on time, does excellent work with great attention to detail, and thoroughly cleans the area at the end of the job. He removed about 40sq ft of concrete and then hauled in clean fill dirt. I will definitely be asking him to do more work in the future. First class and five stars all the way, a job well done!"

"Danny has been helping us on the property for several years now, everything from cutting down trees, fence installation to drainage and flood control. His professionalism, worth ethic and quality services is why we continue to use him today."
Depth depends on the type of installation and the regulations in your area. Water supply lines typically require 24 inches, while drainage pipes are often installed 36 inches below grade. For most general projects, a depth of 12 to 24 inches and a width of about eight inches is sufficient. Sticking to these specs keeps your utilities safe, code-compliant, and easier to maintain later.
When you need to run utilities underground, you’ve got two main options: boring or trenching. Boring employs directional drilling to install utilities without exposing a continuous channel, while trenching requires excavating an open channel to place utilities securely. Directional drilling preserves landscape integrity, whereas trenching provides direct access for installation, albeit with greater surface disruption. This clear comparison helps you select the method best suited to your project.
Plan on 12 hours to dig 100 linear feet when the soil is cooperative and you can work continuously. This timeframe applies when work is performed consistently and methodically. Factors such as rocky soil, tree roots, obstructions, and frozen ground increase the overall duration, demanding extra planning and effort. Comprehensive operational planning ensures that every challenge is managed efficiently and the project is completed on schedule.
If you want your yard to look untouched, laying fresh sod over the trench is the quickest fix. New sod needs 30 to 45 days to root and blend with the rest of your lawn. A local sod pro can provide you with a firm timeline and tips to ensure the grass takes hold and maintains your curb appeal.
