"I called 2 weeks prior to service to ask for an estimate for removing and remounting a ceiling fan and installing a new ceiling fan in its place.  I was told that the service call will be $69, plus $69/hour for work done.  I scheduled the work to be done.  The day of service, the electrician called a little before 8:00am (the appt time) to let me know he would be 15 minutes late.  I appreciated the phone call!  He arrived at 8:15am.  I showed him the new fan and existing fan.  He said he had never hung a "flush -mount" fan, so I briefly looked at the parts and instructions with him.  I offered to put the fan together while he took down and relocated the existing fan, but he preferred to do it all himself.  I was concerned about his ability to hang the new "flush-mount"  fan.  I checked on him periodically and he seemed to be having no trouble.  He was very professional and accomplished the job in one hour and 45 minutes.  The company estimated the installation could take up to 2 hours.  The fan wiring in the ceiling at both locations did not have to be altered, so it was really just a matter of taking two fans down, re-installing one elsewhere, and replacing one with the new one.  This takes some time, though, when only one person is doing the job!  The fans are very secure and work properly (fan and light) with the two sets of existing wall switches.  I think the price was a little high, but I knew the cost before I hired them - no surprises.  It was such a good experience, I will hire this company again for electrical work."
