"My 1950, 860 ft house had 20+ yr old dusty, pink insulation, that was even worse after the city revamped utility vaults & pushed rats into the neighborhood. I chose S.R Insulation to vacuum out, caulk open voids, and re-blow insulation. The owner set up an appointment quickly. On the day of service, he did call 15 minutes late to advise of an issue. The 3 person team arrived within an hour, set up the vacuum and bags, then removed insulation; original, wood-shingle slips; and ducting left by A/C techs. They worked between 3 to 4 hours and said they would return next business day. The two part installation, gave me an idea - I asked for an extension, so I could repair ceiling sheet rock while the attic was void. The owner agreed. He did not require partial payment. Three weeks later, I rescheduled. The install was even quicker, filling up to the stud height in white, blown insulation. He leaves behind a cardboard measuring stick to show you. The difference inside the house was immediate. I will not provide calculations, as I added front load washer/dryer to the electric usage at this same time. Later, I found my stove top vent fan blocked. I was able to pull out material from the duct, and the fan worked. Therefore I did not call the owner about this. I paid less than $1500, and thought it fair. I would use S.R. Insulation again and recommend them."

The installer did not arrive with all the materials needed to complete the job. It took over a week to get all the work completed on the Fuse Panel. There were scheduling issues between the office and the installer. I believe this company is experiencing growing pains. They know the electrical work but haven't worked out the organization yet.

I had a good experience with the installation of the ceiling fan and outside light and switch. The installer was efficient and completed the job quickly.

When we turned our new, month-old Trane system back on, the air-flow was so much better! We let it run for a day, changed out the filter, and the house smells even better.  I really recommend Service Man for anybody looking for "the good guys." "This company is actually fantastic, even though I'm seeking a refund. Their order for the fans was apparently sent to Costco, so they had to wait for another shipment. I was given a call to let me know what had happened, and then they called me again as a follow-up to let me know they were still waiting. After about another month of waiting on my end, I called in to ask about the status. They were absolutely shocked that they had missed me because the shipment had come in and they thought they had taken care of everyone. Unfortunately, the supplier has been bought out in the meantime, so HPC is not able to purchase the fans wholesale from this place anymore, and the new distributor is charging more for the fan than the cost of the Angie's List coupon. HPC said that they'd find a way to get me one, but I cannot do that as it would be at a loss to the company and that is not fair. I am very impressed with this company, and if they do another deal, I'll be all over it."
