"After calling several Electrician companies, finally signed up on Angie's list (first good thing). Reached out to Tommy and was responded to very quickly. Made arrangements for him to checkout our needs within the next day or so, and scheduled the fix within a couple days of that. Installed ceiling fan, used his contacts at the store we purchased the fan from to find the remote that went with the fan we purchased a few months back (was not included in the open box we purchased...got lucky!), rewired the outlets by bedside (I was expecting one, but it made more sense to put the top plugs of 2 outlets in the switch...the smallest things can make a huge difference!), and fixed the landscape lights. He came prepared with replacement light units, but was able to clean out and fix up all but one of the existing units (and used the single replacement unit we happened to have on hand).
Charges were very reasonable and workmanship high quality. Also helped point us to reasonable solution to recessed floodlighting in the kitchen. (And Tommy, yes, the LED light works great! Planning to replace the remainder of the recessed lighting with same.)

I needed a ceiling fan installed at a location on my ceiling where there was no current electrical box. The owner gave me a virtual estimate that beat his competitors. Dan was on-time, showed up with a mask, and performed the service professionally. I especially liked how even though I put down some old sheets, he still covered my living room in plastic he brought, to ensure I had no mess to clean up after he was done. Dan was kind, professional and now I have a fan that works beautifully. He took the time to make sure I understood how to work the fan's remote before he left."

"We wanted to try a local contractor and came across Evergreen by chance.  It was an excellent experience.  Thad was knowledgeable and professional and easy to work with.  The crew was exactly the same.  Nice, respectful, competent.  The worked around my crazy schedule as we had other improvements going on.  They had a slight delay in getting the generator as there was a back order, but called and let us know and we worked around it.  Laurie in the office was equally good and kept us in communication on details or things to do and schedule etc.  I could not be more happy with the experience on such a big purchase.  They were always accommodating and helpful.  The Generator and switch were high quality and I think the price was fair.  They even did some easy side things for us for no charge.  We will definitely use them again soon to install an attic fan."

"They spent a lot of time prepping the walls beforehand, which really resulted in a beautiful finish.I had a difficult t ime making up my mind about colors,and  Dan helped me out with great suggestions.They also did work on my bathroom,fixing a hole in the ceiling and venting my exhaust fan to the outside.They were very punctual,thorough and enthusiastic.They did a fantastic job. "I'm tempted to give Steve a bad review to reduce the competition for his services. Maybe that way he would be available for my exclusive use. But that would be unfair to my Northern Virginia neighbors. Steve was prompt, friendly, courteous, reliable, expert, and reasonably-priced. He was also creative: When the replacements he purchased for our outdated bathroom exhaust fans did not quite fit the existing mountings, he used a Dremel drill to carefully cut a 1/2 inch piece off the motor shaft of each one. His solution worked: the new fans fit perfectly, run smoothly, and are far quieter than the screechy, ear-drum busting, jet-plane-at-takeoff noise we had become used to. Steve even brought treats for our dog, Sirius! I could not recommend him highly enough, and plan to use him again and often."
