"On time, professional but super friendly staff. Replaced a ceiling fan with a light and added a light over our kitchen sink. Answered all our questions including others that didn't pertain to the current projects. Never made us feel like he was on a time frame, found out we have to replace our breaker box which we are doing next week with Mr. Electric. Was given a $50 off coupon through this website by Mr. Electric that was awesome. Will use them from now on with other projects. Home Advisor made it so easy to find someone and Mr. Electric made the project look great! Thank you"

"I was very anxious to resolve this problem, especially as it was on a Saturday, but Derek Potter of Star Electric answered my call quickly and was able to arrive even earlier than promised.  He quickly and efficiently discovered what the issue was with the electricity, after initially checking the fuse box to ensure all was in order there.  After I told him I had been cleaning the ceiling light/fan in the master suite, Derek disassembled that system and found a wiring issue, which he quickly corrected.  Apparently when the ceiling light/fan was installed some years ago, it was not done properly and the wiring was such that it could have started an electrical fire at some point.  So I was grateful that Derek had found the issue which could have been a safety concern.  He was very professional and informative in explaining everything to me, and also showed me some additional pointers about the fuse box and my electric systems.

"I ordered the Angie's List coupon for a Dryer Vent clean out.  The first available Saturday appointment was 10 weeks from the time I called (April 28 until July 7).  I was not pleased with this but I accepted it because with my schedule it was the only way.
Since it was 10 weeks away I called to confirm a week before the appointment and there was no problem.  The technician did a call ahead and confirmed he would arrive around 8am as planned.  This was nice.  Justin arrived, was very professional, and did the cleanout in the attic, outside of house (2nd story attic so about 25' above grade, etc.).  We have a 30' run with 3-4 bends and a high performance dryer vent fan in-line.  The whole job took less than 60 minutes.  The dryer performance is much better than before (1 dry cycle vs. 2 to get clothes completely dry).
Bottom line:  This was a good value, very prompt for the appointment, professional service, and for the same price I would do it again when the time comes.  Since I now know they are efficient I would plan a weekday appointment at a planned time (first appointment of the day) to get it done on time and quickly."
