"I wanted an inspection to be sure that my chimney was in good shape. It was; however, it was an inherited and MC pointed out several important things about use - the gas logs are working fine but are older and not vent-free (so be sure damper is open when using), prior owners had left real pine cones in the fireplace (a no-no), and no evidence of leaking. MC sells vent-free logs, but suggested a less expensive source from which I could order. I appreciated the time and attention to my particular situation."
