We are also in the middle of a renovation project for our game room and that included the installation of a sliding glass door where a window was. The door install required that a steel lintel be moved up to accommodate the height of the new door. We were very fortunate that we called Michener Chimney and Masonry to come and have a look. They came out in a timely fashion and gave their estimate to us in just a few days. Once we agreed to get the work done, Jim and his team from Michener began the work quickly. They were professional and friendly and did a wonderful job on all of the aspects of the project. Communication with them was easy, clear and accurate. He didn’t make excuses, handled the stress of it professionally, and apologized profusely. Daniel arrived and went over everything after the inspection with pics and did a thorough cleaning and made a few future recommendations. Due to the inconvenience, he refused to charge me. "I hired for chimney sweep & inspection of my wood burning fireplace. Trevor was on time, very courteous and knowledgeable. My chimney didnâ  t need to be swept, which was an honest response. With his camera & drone he was able to identify cracks inside the chimney & on top. He showed them to me on the iPad, as they were identified He sent the pictures to my email, and encouraged contacting my insurance company for an estimate. Overall, the inspection was a great experience. We have not proceeded yet with repair, but have no reservations about proceeding with this company."
