"The salesman did not exam the floors to tell us that the product we would like could not be installed without some subfloor prep. The ran my spouse's credit but when the credit card came in it had my name and her social security number. When we attempted to call the salesman after the installer said we could not have the product we had decided on, he did not return our calls."

"Overall I would say the experience was excellent. With a great deal of guidance and support from Tena, I chose a 20 x 20 porcelain tile for the floors and a coordinating porcelain tile with blue pearl inserts (matches the beveled edge on my countertop!) for the backsplash. Tony is very skilled at laying tile and I very much appreciated that I was kept informed along the way. The result is just beautiful - the new floor looks far more expensive than it truly is and the installation is excellent. Also, Hawk tile uses some installation techniques that I haven't not typically seen....instead of replacing my ugly black rubber kickplates with more ugly black rubber kickplates, they utilize the floor tile to actually tile the kickplates. It looks great. Also, there is no transition strip between the tile and the carpet - the edge of the tile is beveled and the carpet is folded under. Again....much more sophisticated look. This was a sizable job and I think that the price was good in light of the amount of work and the type of tile that I had installed. Very good value and money well spent.

"A kitchen remodel is a major over-haul project. Gutting the original tile floor prior to replace it with new tile is a long process. Brewer did their best to maintain a schedule that got us through this inconvenience as effortlessly as possible. They were very concientious about taping off the areas not being reomodeled to eliminate as much construction dirt as possible. They were careful not to damage other parts of the kitchen. The installation went well and the installer did an excellent job and made our new floor look fantastic. The same person installed the backsplash and it turned out great too. I have used Brewer previously for a carpet installation, so that is why I called them back for this job. Once again, I was very pleased with the end results and I would call them back whenever we have additional flooring needs."

"TROY AND HIS ASSISTANT DID A GREAT JOB. OUR FLOOR LOOKS WONDERFUL. THEY COMPLETED THE JOB IN JUST 2 DAYS AND WORKED VERY HARD TO GET THE FINAL FINISH EXACTLY AS I REQUESTED. I WILL USE THEM AGAIN FOR ADDITIONAL FLOORS, NOW THAT I KNOW HOW GOOD THEY ARE. ANOTHER COMPANY I HAD USED PREVIOUSLY, TOOK MUCH LONGER TO COMPLETE THE WORK AND CHARGED SIGNIFICANTLY MORE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND SUPERIOR MARBLE TO ANYONE NEEDING WORK DONE ON THEIR MARBLE OR TERRAZZO FLOORS AND/OR COUNTERTOPS."
The rule of thumb is to add 10% for installations of under 1,000 square feet. If your installation is more than 1000 square feet, 7% is the appropriate adjustment. For diagonal installations or lower-grade hardwood products, 15% is the recommended adjustment.
Generally, you should leave a three quarter inch expansion space around the perimeter of your flooring. But this expansion should not affect your square footage measurements
It usually takes one to two days to complete vinyl sheet flooring installation. Your installation may require an extra day or two if you live in a humid climate.
