"I've used Exposition Carpeting for more than 20 years now.  They have an excellent selection and are extremely helpful, and their prices are reasonable.  When our basement flooded last year, we had wanted to get the same carpeting that had been ruined in the flood, but it was discontinued.  They were SO helpful in poring over books and helping us find something very similar.  There was a miscommunication among their staff which caused our order to be somewhat delayed, but that was the first time I'd had anything less than a stellar experience with them.

"It’s taken me some time to decide to post a review, as mine is really very mixed. Our floors were the bulk of the project with either refinishing or replacing carpet with hardwood throughout our home. We are VERY happy with the completed project on our floors. Had some initial concerns with the finish not looking smooth, but this was remedied and the end result is beautiful. Dust free— yes! Didn’t really think it was possible, but really, very little dust. No issues with the staircase were immediately noticed, but since completion of the project we have noticed a couple. 1) One stair tread toward the botttom of the staircase was cut short (has much shorter overhang than the other treads). It is pretty obvious once you notice the mistake. I would have a hard time with thinking that this was not noticed when installed. 2) The board at the top of the stairs was cut short and a “sliver” of hardwood was put in the gap. Also, the hardwood treads were installed on the existing staircase. Don’t think I really thought about this issue before the work was done. But this makes the first riser taller than the others and the last riser up the staircase shorter than the others. After completing the projects above, I asked about work on an additional smaller project. A verbal quote and verbal timeline for doing the project were given and I was told I would receive an email with the quote. I did not receive an email. When I inquired, I was told that they could not do the project now and that basically I should look elsewhere. Hm... So .... overall I would say I was happy with the wood floors which again were the bulk of our project, not so happy with the staircase, and not so happy with the response (and lack of response) that I got when I inquired about furthers work."

"Mitchell came in and inspected my floor. He told me exactly what job they where going to on my floor. He explained everything thoroughly to me. He was also very helpful in helping me pick a color. He was very professional and very personable. I felt comfortable going ahead with the project."

"We hired Mike Osan on August 24th. He came out the following week and removed the old flooring on the 1st floor. He packed everything in manageable bundles for removal. He cleaned everything, to leave ready for the following week to install new laminated flooring. He started work as promised at 9 am and would finish by 5 pm. He was meticulous in his work. He would clean after his day, leaving the area clean. The work is done promptly. We were extremely pleased with his work ethic. We have a project for the stairs next year. We already made it known to him, that the project is his. We are very pleased to have hired this young man."
