"The work went well. It was very messy so I recommend anyone hiring this contractor to be prepared for just how messy this project can be. My floors, carpets and furniture were so covered in material leftover from sanding that it took us three days to clean. Everything was white as snow. Also, do not wet the sanding debris, make sure you dry wipe, sweep and vacuum before wiping things down with anything damp/wet. Again, can't stress enough that the final product was great, but the process is messy. Be prepared."

"David and 1 of his workers were kind enough to come to my home to fix my sliding door so it would slide on a Sunday morning. They were back to replace the door on Monday. They were on time, efficient and even replaced the wood facing because the new door didn't fit exactly the same as the old door. I will definitely have them do my next job which hopefully won't be an emergency like the first job. While they were here, I also asked them to hang my Christmas lights and fix my flag stone path. "I contacted Wayne Thibodeaux, Jr., of Smart Floors because I needed floor repairs, and a contractor already on Angie's List had recommended him. He came out for an estimate, saw that the repairs would go beyond what he normally provides (carpet/floor installation and minor repair), showed me what the problem was (sagging floor joists), explained what the probable fix would be, and recommended several other outfits for the job. When I received the other estimate and realized that my living room carpet would need to be pulled back for some of these repairs and then restretched, I arranged for Wayne to coordinate with these other workers to do this part of the job.
He and his crew were prompt, efficient, and friendly, and they were careful about moving my fragile furniture. Wayne also answers phone calls and texts promptly, which is an added bonus. He charges $30 for an estimate, but then if he's hired that money is applied to your total bill. If I need carpet or tile installed, I'll definitely call him again."
