"I highly recommend Richard from Tomahawk flooring. I hired them to do carpet installation at a rental property in Westbrook. Lowe’s ended up losing the carpeting I had purchased a few weeks prior and delivered other very inferior carpeting instead. Richard was able to secure new high quality carpeting for me the next day and sold it to me at a fair price. They completed a tricky installation (large odd-shaped room with 2 closets as well as a winding staircase) quickly and professionally. Richard’s team did such a great job on the carpeting that I hired them to replace a vinyl plank floor in my Scarborough home with hardwood. I challenge anyone to find a contractor better than Jim Longden. He responded quickly to do an estimate, was professional, personable, and did a great job in a short amount of time for a price that was very affordable. Jim told me he could do it in one day, and it took him one day. He gave me an affordable price, and stuck to that price. He was clean in his workspace, no mess, and was respectful of the existing structure, like the hard wood floor. If you want something done right, for a great price, and in a timely manner, you'd be hard pressed to find someone better than Jim."
