"We pulled old carpeting up and had issues with the old floor beneath. They had to join the floors of two rooms to a hallway by splicing new pieces of hardwood in because previous owners moved walls and just carpeted over the entire upstairs afterward. We hired them to splice in the threshold areas, and also remove the carpet that went down the stairs and refinish it all. They were fabulous, extremely nice to work with, super clean. We literally had no dust to speak of afterward. Great guys - we recommend them wholeheartedly!"

"Floors by Val team exceeded all my expectations! My husband and I bought a house that needed the floors to be refinished. I was nervous about picking a stain that I would not like and would be stuck with. Michael spent time explaining to me how stains last and the type of stains that could go towards the orange color I was trying to avoid. He sent me pictures and was very helpful in the process of picking a stain and finish. While Michael and his team were working, they noticed some areas that still had carpet and staples (which were supposed to be removed by our General Contractor, but did not do a great job), and he volunteered to remove it, and was happy to do it! Once all the work was done, my husband and I checked to see how everything looked and we loved it!!! Everything looked so fresh and the stain we selected (weathered oak) looked stunning! I love how everything blended in so well and the stain looked so natural. The team did an AMAZING JOB!!! While you want the team to do an amazing job with the actual job of refinishing, you also want to work with someone that communicates well and cares about the job. This is another area that Michael goes above and beyond. I cannot believe how easy it was to relay information and get a response back!! Michael returned my calls and texts in record time. Michael is not someone that is going into the job just for a paycheck. He cares about his clients and truly wants to see them happy at the end of the project. He even stayed back to give us information on cleaning, and things to avoid to keep the floors looking fresh. My husband and I got so lucky finding Floors by Val!!
