Lowe’s ended up losing the carpeting I had purchased a few weeks prior and delivered other very inferior carpeting instead. They completed a tricky installation (large odd-shaped room with 2 closets as well as a winding staircase) quickly and professionally. The entire second floor was original pine flooring and they refinished the entire area despite the flooring being over one hundred years old and having lots of dips and curves.
