"I hired Elliot's Carpet Sales to refinish some ancient hard wood floors and to re-float some damaged subfloors discovered under old carpet in a 120 year old house. I picked them because Al Elliot was very knowledgeable, thorough, and obviously takes pride in his work. His wasn't the cheapest estimate I got, but I knew he'd do the work right the first time. He answered all my (many) questions patiently, and the floors came out great. Highly recommended."

"The job was so-so. They were very polite but I do feel the language barrier didn’t help. The flooring was not installed correctly. The tiles should have been staggered but they were laid side by side. The repair in the bathroom wall was horrible. I had a recessed paper holder and wanted it removed and the wall patched. At first the patch of wood (the wall is old time paneling that I like the look of) was put in against the grain… really?? I asked them to change it and the results were worse. I have since found a paper holder that covers the botched up mess. I can’t honestly recommend them for jobs on older homes."
