"We were buying a 1940 home and decided to have the oak floors refinished before we moved in. I contacted several companies and Chris from Columbia Flooring was the first to call me back. He sounded very professional and knowledgeable. I had read about a process where you just lightly sand/add a coat of poly, without doing the full refinishing job. Chris met me at the house to see the floors and provide an estimate. By then, I had gotten two other quotes for this quick sand/add poly process without either of those companies coming to look at the floors. Chris talked to me about the cleaning materials that have been used on the floors, which I had no info on. So, doing the quick sand/poly could be a disaster. We decided to have him completely refinish them. After listening to us, he helped us pick Golden Oak as our stain after leaving us a few options. "I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up.
