"After having a disastrous master bathroom remodel where the subcontractor had botched the job, I was faced with finding a company that can fix it. The job was done so poorly that it had to be redone. Naturally I was quite skeptical after this ordeal.. When I contacted Expert Home Builders, Owner came out and assured me that they could complete my master bath to my standards (I am very picky) and it would be done in a very timely manner. Their tile man and painter did exquisite work. After the glass shower, vanity, and tub were installed, I was extremely happy with the results. And you will too if you choose to use them. "We needed a new roof for our house. Our ‘old’ roof had few leaks and several problems that required the replacement with a new one. The last rain resulted in a water leak to the bedrooms area. So, we called Landmark construction energy upgrade because they did our neighbor's roof a year ago and they gave us an estimate at that time. This time, they just updated the estimate and they were able to lower it, which was cheaper than the other estimates we got. The good feeling was much better because it’s a family business who not only give the bid but do the work. No hard sell here or having the bid from one guy but the work is with unknown others - as it was with other bids. Landmark did the job so good and very fast as well which was awesome! The workers from Landmark made sure to clean the roof and they did a quality work. The roof was a mess with lots of humps, bumps and terrible pad for the Air conditioning. They rebuilt it all, and had people who came to do specialty tasks, such as hooking up the dish, the air conditioning condenser etc.… More than that, they also fixed the gutters and made sure they are connected correctly. All in all, this project is complete and done. We are no longer have to deal with the old roof and leaks for at least for 20 years. Before we did the new roof, The office staff helped us with the Cool Roof rebate from the power company and the federal tax rebate for an Energy Star roof, both of which we were not aware. Landmark construction energy upgrade are now our roofers who did a great work and have other great contractors to supplement for special tasks and run an all-around energy efficient business. If we ever move or we have a natural disaster, we know who will work for us."

"It went great! What was once just dirt and weeds is now beautiful land and hardscape! Roney was very responsive to our requests and ideas and quickly came back with a design we were exited to get implemented. Within a few days a full crew was on-site to start the work. As the work started there were a few areas where his foreman Juan recommended modifications. These modifications were very positive and above and beyond the original agreement and at no additional cost to us, which made my husband very happy! Those included replacement of 3 steps to our deck from wood to concrete, increased length of the sidewalk, improved fencing beyond the original design, some additional irrigation work and fixing the base of another set of stairs to regulation height by adding flagstone. Juan had great vision for how to make these changes so the outcome went from beautiful to outstanding! And the crown jewel of this whole project is a custom, unique fire pit that I found only as a picture from the internet. Juan pulled this off with no formal instructions, just a solitary picture and his own creativity! We could not be happier and certainly recommend Babylon Garden Landscaping."

"The service worked out okay. One of the screens is already broken again. I kept being up sold, they kept saying they will provide me 5 screens or we should have this done, which was more of a c'mon for me to get more things. I just had screens needed to be repaired and not anything more. They showed up on time, and they did every thing on time, but when you come in, and do a bait and switch, that is not professionalism for me. Professionalism is when you come and do what you have been paid for."

"Ybarra Professional Builders did 2 big plumbing projects on my house and property. Not only did they install a brand-new main water line to replace the old leaking galvanized steel pipe, but they also re-piped my house's plumbing as it was also made from that same rusting out galvanized steel. I also had some other major work done by them at the same time (tree removal and sprinkler repair) but since Home Advisor asked for a specific type of project for this review, I will only review the plumbing projects. Vlad was the project manager for all of these projects. He coordinated all of the sub-contractors' work and got the projects done in a timely manner. There were none of the time issues that I had heard about with other contractors, such as waiting weeks between one phase of a project to get the next one started-after one phase was done, the next phase would begin with no more than a day or two in between. He was very pleasant and very patient with my many questions and concerns and kept me up-to-date with what was happening. The project that I most dreaded, the house plumbing re-piping, was not as bad as I thought it would be, to my great relief. All of the people who I dealt with at Ybarra were pleasant and professional, from the sub-contractors to the office staff. I think the quality of the work performed was very good. In the additional clean-up phase, the holes in the drywall where the plumbing had been re-piped were patched and painted, and the concrete where the driveway had to be cut to replace the main water line was re-poured. This portion of the project was available as an additional cost, but the workmanship was very good. I had heard and read many horror stories about dealing with contractors so working with this group was a pleasant surprise. Thank you, Vlad."
