"Basement Gurus arrived to discuss our basement water issue. Dan patiently went over everything and listened to our concerns and answered our questions. He prepared a proposal to remove 4' of our patio and dig down to the foundation to waterproof the wall and fill the cracks from outside. He also suggested burying a downspout and pipe leading water away from the house and sealing the wall cracks on the inside basement wall. The team arrived as scheduled and worked incredibly hard for several hours a day. They were impressive in the system they followed and how much work they performed each day and were respectful of us and our property. By the end of the job everything was back in place. "We have lived in Kingwood Township, Hunterdon County, NJ, for many years.  In fact, Mark was the excavator that dug the foundation for our home, 14 years ago.  Mark has done many projects for us over the years.  We would not think of using another excavator.  This year Mark installed a 6 box Peat Fiber Biofilter septic system in an 82' x 25' area of our rear yard. Much of the ground in Kingwood Township is shale and clay. Septic leach fields do not drain well.  Mark installed a new septic tank and a 2000 gal. septic dosing tank  that pumps septic liquid 500 FEET through 3" delivery pipe to the peat boxes in the rear of our yard.  This is relatively new technology.  Mark was very careful to assure everything was done correctly,  AND, unlike other contractors, Mark communicates closely with you. In order to bring the heavy equipment to the rear of our property, Mark created an access road made of crushed shale that leads to the large septic bed.
