"They had to take out a portion of my front wall which was not planned on, and the conic quality of the concrete was not as good as I thought it should be they destroyed the brick wall that they said they would be able to save and I think they also damaged an additional plumbing line, which I’m going to have to have repaired But we did get the leaking stopped, which was the big part of the problem they had to dig up the entire front foundation down to the 8 foot footer and re-waterproof the wall put in a French drain system and a new drainage system for the gutter and a sump pump"

"I met with several waterproofing reps but I was impressed with Allens professionalism: he explained what the work entailed, shared a diagram of the area to be covered based on his quote, and even showed me a sample of the poly sheeting to be used. He and his team worked diligently. The only reason I did not give a 5 is that they had to come back and resolve a problem. Stuff happens, but it is how a business recovers that I remember. Vanguard was on point. They did not hesitate to return to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, that return trip left me with a large amount of additional dust to clean-up. (See past review) Tyler came right over immediately and took a look at the project. I was hoping that he could resurface the concrete that was already cracking considerably from a wrongful pour. Being partially prepared for that answer, and along with all the logical explanations, we set a date to demo and redo. And it happened. In two days time what took 5 weeks and a mess for Solidscapes to fail with. An actual survey of the slope with markings for water WILL run off. Plans of how the project will tie to the house footers. Actual stress joints in case of settling. The demo was as clean as you could expect to get from all that work, the team he has working with are positive and there to do one thing, a job done right. The finished job matches the front driveway in look and appeal. Out of pocket was a very fair price for the product and the relationship you have with this company. There are a lot of clowns out there looking for your money and selling you on what they can do for concrete. Skip all of that and give Tyler a call."

They also built an amazing paver patio and sitting wall that will be enjoyed for many years. Everything was completed with attention to detail. "Islas Masonry is awesome. We had a large section of driveway that was severely damaged from tree roots and needed to be replaced. I reached out to several contractors on Angie's List, and most could not even provide a quote for several weeks. Francisco responded within 30 minutes, came out the next day to quote, and was onsite a few days later to perform the work. We have a flowerbed along side the driveway and the crew was able to remove the old concrete, place formers and pour the new concrete without disturbing the flowers in the bed. Their price was very competitive with others, and they are fast, friendly and very professional. I would not hesitate to recommend them, and will use them again anytime I need concrete work."
