"In preparation we moved everything in the basement away from the walls like they asked, although some of the shelves that I built could not be moved more than ~24 inches away from one of the walls. The next day the crew of three came over promptly at 8 AM. I told the crew leader about the shelves and he said that the space may be sufficient depending on the how far the footer underneath came in from the walls (as it turned out it was fine). They also moved the heavy concrete utility sink out of the way without damaging it. They crew hung plastic to partition the untouched sections of the basement and the rest of the house. I was told that the job was to take two days and it did. They cleaned up as best they could--vacuuming the stairs and didn't leave any debris or trash inside or out, although there was a light coating of dust on the everything in the basement which I expected. When they finished they walked me though the basement and everything looked great so I was glad to pay them as agreed in the contract. I am very pleased with the job, although I was slightly dissatisfied with the concrete pored over the drain because it wasn't always level with the existing floor and wasn't totally troweled smooth (I ended up floating the sections of the patch myself to level and get a better finish). Overall I think those are minor criticisms it was was a more than satisfactory experience."

"After interviewing a variety of companies to help us out with our water issue in our crawl space, we decided to schedule the work with Pete Westera's Basement System's USA in North East MD and we are so happy with our decision. From the first phone conversation with Tina Reaves (production manager) who scheduled our free estimate, to the estimate appointment with Tim Schlegel (inspector), to the day the work was completed by Jordan (lead technician) and Nate (assistant technician) the experience was a pleasant one. He created a blueprint on his laptop in our kitchen and explained every detail. He allowed us a few days to make our decision just as we told him that we need and he wasn't pushy with the follow up, but still kept in touch. His personality, attitude and sales tactics were a huge selling factor in the reason that we selected this company. We also loved the idea that the company and the owner were local to our area and that the own was a preacher. They also have an excellent warranty that covers the life of the structure making it comforting to know that the warranty can transfer through multiple owners without any "fine print" snags. They originally had the next available install date about 30 days from the day we received the estimate. Due to our busy life schedule, a honeymoon, and the upcoming cold weather we were in a time crunch and requested to have it done in 2 weeks. Tim and Tina made some calls and made it happen, again helping us out big time. The week before the install we were out of the country on our Honeymoon and I communicated with Tina asking that she reach out to my Mom in the event of any last minute changes, she made a note on the account and everything went smoothly. The install crew arrived on time and the lead Jordan was excellent at communicating with me from the time that they arrived to the house, to excellent detailed description of what they we actually doing as they performed the work, to the time they took a brief lunch break and the follow up the following day when he had to return to finish the drain outside. They were both very courteous, they worked very hard all day, they were easy to talk to and maintained a very clean work environment both inside and outside of my home as they completed this project. The company also offers a financing option of up to 6 months with 0% interest which was very appealing to help us pay off this project in a timely manner without racking up another high interest home project credit card. From start to finish we couldn't be happier. Now 5 days post install I am happy to report that our system is operating properly and it was well worth the money (a very competitive price I might add) to have the piece of mind to know that we received quality workmanship and to no longer have the fear of further expensive water damage or cringing every time that it rains. "We hired Mike to do our basement waterproofing prior to finishing our basement. They 1) repaired a leaking wall crack using a fill and carbon fiber seal, 2) replaced our original sump pump, 3) installed a full perimeter french drain system, 4) installed a second sump pump, and 5) a thermal armor wall cover on all walls. Overall, we were quite pleased with the negotiations, timing, install process, and finished product. Would definitely recommend giving Mike at Aqua Dry a call for basement waterproofing."

"This was a great breath of fresh air! Truly wonderful. Dan was incredible. He checked everything thoroughly, every crack was inspected and every concern was addressed. He was professional, friendly and knew what he was doing. He didn't try to sell us anything that we didn't need. He gave us a list of items we could do to make the space more waterproof, like caulking around the bottom of our double doors. He also suggested that we keep an eye on the cracks and take photos to document if the cracks spread. He was happy to hear that we were very happy with his inspection. This was the best free estimate we've ever received. He didn't try to sell us anything. He mentioned that they had a dehumidifier that is also an air purifier and would likely help with my allergies. So, if the other dehumidifier ever breaks, I know where I'm headed to buy a new one! Dan is part of a company that is extremely professional. They sent out a letter prior to our appointment to introduce Dan to us. It had his photo, a bio and even listed his family member's names. I felt like I knew him even before he showed up. This is a great way to do business. They even sent a book on basements that went into great detail about what could go wrong and how they can fix it. I enjoyed reading the book. "Mike and his crew took three days for this job which requires excavation, ground preparation, regrading, concreting in a six-footer berm of cobblestones, paving, sealing, and seeding of affected lawn. They came early, began promptly when township ordinances permitted, and worked as an efficient, highly coordinated team. They always consulted us for our opinions as the project went on to make sure that each step met our approval. Health professionals should show such ongoing concern and bedside manner. We were extremely satisfied."

"Our foundation was seriously compromised due to water intrusion. Steve responded quickly and gave us an estimate at a great price. He was knowledgeable and informative. "Plymouth did a fantastic job installing a walkway, a few paver pads, and flower beds. We also had them install a pond. Everything worked well in the beginning except that there seemed to be a slow leak. They worked on the issue with us last year but were not able to determine the cause of the leak, so we had an auto-fill line put in. This year, when using it, it did not stop automatically and the hose wasn't clamped so the water pressure blew the skimmer off the pipe. They stopped answering my calls about this issue so I had to get another company to come in and fix it."

"He and his two assistants first broke up the three slabs so they could be removed. Then they created the mold for the new sidewalk and filled it with 4 inches of gravel to raise the sidewalk above the problem area. Then the concrete was poured and molded to keep water away from the front door. He staked the area for safety and removed the stakes and yellow tape three days later so I didn't have to do it. All in all he was very professional and knowledgeable and I would use him again.
