"I am amending my review after subsequent contact with Basement Systems. Ultimately I am satisfied with the work they finally did, Kathy from the office is very sweet and the work done by Dale was ultimately done although there was much confusion since I was never called or emailed to let me know that the work was complete (it is a weekend property and we were not present- which makes it challenging to schedule with providers). I do wish they did a better job with communication since this was the main issue (not hearing from them when they were not able to come for an appt or not hearing that they were coming to do the job!) I will say that despite my frustration, I do think the work was done well, Dale assessed another concern or ours unrelated to this job, and will be coming back to further assess and provide an estimate if need be, and Dale even closed a garage door that was left open by another service provider which was much appreciated. So I certainly would do business with them again and am pleased with the final outcome. But for the sake of completion, below is my original review.  

Prior review:
Was initially very pleased with prompt initial response and visit from Dale for free estimate. He came on 9/16 as scheduled, was very likable, friendly and informative and spent much of time surveying house and property and providing recommendations as to how to best address leak in basement and buried drainage pipes on the property of our newly purchased home. Was told he would email estimate within week. Dale made such a good impression that I was surprised that I did not receive the estimate within a week. I called 2 weeks later to remind them to provide estimate which should have been my first clue that things would not proceed smoothly.
Had difficulty getting work scheduled which was to be approx 4 hours of labor for 2 men. Not totally their fault as we are weekenders and could only be there for thurs/friday/saturday dates, so I can appreciate that scheduling might be difficult, but still frustrated that work was scheduled for a friday 2 months later. Was called a few hours before appt and told that someone was sick and they could not do job. Was not called back when I asked to reschedule. When I finally reached Kathy who works in the office was told that Dale would come personally the following Monday and do the work himself. Needless to say he never did and I never heard from anyone from the company since then. Wasted nearly 3 months of our time and left at square one. Thanks for nothing. Extremely disappointed with lack of professionalism and surprised that this company has such high ratings."

"Rock Solid has done tuck pointing on our 1935 brick colonial house 10 years ago and they were great. The repair work is still holding. Fastforward 2022, RS came back to work on redoing the bricks on back patio. Just as before, quality is great, price point is good and time estimate accurate. James Walsh is patient, answers any questions before starting projects. It was a pleasure to work with him and his team. We highly recommend Rock Solid."

"Pat thoroughly inspected the property inside and out and made holistic recommendations to solve the suspected water problems. He was very professional and took time to explain his recommendations and considerations. Unlike the other companies I met with, he also provided options depending upon my budget and desire to start small or big and was willing to recommend a contractor to take down and rebuild the finished part of my basement. Overall estimate was comparable to others, approximate cost was for full basement and several windows. I ended up choosing a different company but the choice was close. I'd recommend contacting Arid when considering basement waterproofing.

"From first visit by Russ where the process was explained in detail with a nice video shown to the day the work was done by two very professional men (Juan and Miguel) everything was first class. The men put plastic down from front door all the way to the basement where the waterproofing a crack was done and when they left it was as if they had never been there(except for the well done job) After watching a video I did get a voucher with a $100 discount which was a nice touch!"

"Aaron Lenker add Corbin Gillichbauer of Groundworks leveled concrete walks around my corner lot in Montoursville Pa. They arrived around noon time and were finished about 5 1/2 hours later. They did their work very professionally. They did an excellent job. I would rate their work 5 of 5 stars."

"Weather-Tite was recommended to me by a contractor who I trust to evaluate and repair water and moisture issues that I was having in my garage. Bob and his crew did a phenomenal job!! My husband and I are beyond thrilled with the results! They are professional, courteous, and fastidious. Half of my garage is underground, as there is a hill in my front yard leading up to the house. The repair involved excavating dirt along the front of my house next to the garage foundation wall down to the drain pipe, repairing cracks and holes, applying waterproofing and more. The interior wall was cleaned and drylock masonry paint was applied. My landscaping on the outside had to be removed and then put back. They did such a good job that you couldn't even tell it had been moved at all. We also had Bob and his crew complete a second job for us. This involved excavating another trench but in the back of the house along 16 feet of the foundation, replacing a drain pipe and waterproofing. They were at our house for three days. During that time and after we had torrential rain and everything stayed dry!!! I highly recommend Weather-Tite Waterproofing, Inc.!"

"Bright Stone did a good job repairing the steps to my front door and the retaining walls in my drive way. He even pointed out additional repairs that should be done, which I had overlooked. However, I do feel that I was overcharged for the work and would definitely recommend negotiating (and getting a 2nd opinion). But overall Bright Stone did a good job and I am satisfied with their work."
