"I had a 4 foot crack under a window well, 5 foot under another window well, and 7 foot total wall crack. All were actively leaking water into my basement - like fountains. Called Atlas and 2 other companies, and they responded first arranging Kaz to come out the next morning. I still hadn't heard from the other companies by the time he came. He evaluated the cracks, explained the injection procedure, quoted the price, and set up the appointment. The only negative thing was that the appointment was 3 weeks away and the cracks were significantly leaking. Because we had so much rain, I called again to try to get moved up, and they accommodated me on a Saturday for a $200 premium. Nestor fixed the cracks and the leaking stopped. He was polite, prompt, and answered all my questions. However, with the next rain, small wet areas were seen (nowhere near as bad as they were). I called back, appointment was made, and Nestor came back to fix them again under the lifetime warranty. Same great service with the call back, and no problems noted since! Would recommend, and also say that if you have small leaking, get it fixed, because you never know when it will get worse!"

Details JD and Green City Gardens team were not the least expensive company we had bid on the work. However, for all reasons I listed above, I'm glad that we selected his company. 

The work was completed on time and we now have a beautiful front yard that we are proud to look at everyday.  JD's team fixed our drainage problems and we no longer have to dread walking on the ice in the winter or through puddles when it rains.  We smile every time we look at the pavers leading to the front door.

He was flexible when we wanted to remove another bush not part of the original design and add some stone pavers.  He and his team salvaged a bush to save us some money (always appreciated).  

We had some very minor issues but JD addressed each of them promptly.

Issues that he addressed:

• We were away after the job was completed and we did not have time to water a small patch of new sod for it to survive.  JD replaced it.  Although this was not something he was directly responsible for, he took it upon himself to correct it. 
• When we we concerned about some fungus on our new tree, he came out to look and let us know it was OK. 
• When we noticed a hydrangea plant did not survive its planting, JD replaced it.
• When our dwarf Crimson Japanese tree did not bounce back after the winter (this is 1 year after he completed the job), JD replaced it.

In summary, I would highly recommend doing business with JD and Green City Gardens. "

"I cannot praise this company enough! We loved working with them, and they did excellent work. They are highly responsive - and very courteous. We sought bids from 3 contracts on Angie's List. One never bothered to reply. A second told us - without talking to us - that the job would be too small. And then there was J & P Brothers Landscaping. :-) Juan replied within a few hours to set up an appointment. He was at our house the next day to see what the job entailed. Once we signed off on the work, we were on his calendar quickly -- within a few days. They showed up when promised. The only day they didn't come as planned was due to storms - and thankfully, they put off the sanding for a day or we would have had a huge mess. The tricky part about repairing pavers is getting things back the way they were. (The last time we hired a company for a similar job, we were told it was too hard to get pavers back in their original position, so we should really just replace everything. Puh-lease.) Juan had a system down for making sure all the pavers went back to their original place. He and his crew thoroughly cleaned out the old sand, moss and weeds that had taken over. They reinforced the repaired sections to ensure things stay where they are. They tidied up after themselves every day. (The only thing that was messy was the powerwashing. It blows a lot of gunk everywhere. Totally NOT their fault. Just mentioning it so that you are prepared if you are considering similar work. Move as much as you can - planters, furniture, etc. -- well out of the way.) The end result is a gorgeous patio and sidewalk that look brand-new. Even my 11-year-old was impressed. ;-) It rained the day after they finished - the lake is gone! This project was well worth every penny we paid. There is no way we ever could have done this job ourselves - much less done it to the level of excellence they did. I was so pleased with the work that they did that we asked them to bid on a second job before they finished the first one.
