He prepared a proposal to remove 4' of our patio and dig down to the foundation to waterproof the wall and fill the cracks from outside. He also suggested burying a downspout and pipe leading water away from the house and sealing the wall cracks on the inside basement wall. The team arrived as scheduled and worked incredibly hard for several hours a day. Sometimes you get a job done, and you wonder why you waited so long.  I purchased a "big deal" on Angie's List for concrete repair.  Mike contacted me that very same day.  He came out to look at my current sidewalk a couple of days later, and we scheduled the job to be done in a few weeks.  He said he would let me know if he could come out sooner.  Sure enough, a few days later he called to see if he and his crew could come the next day.  The crew and their clean, red trucks showed up bright and early, ready to begin work as soon as the clock struck 7 am.  They had my old sidewalk out in no time, and set up the forms for the new one.  The debris was removed as they worked.  Some of the trucks left after that, while two stayed behind to wait for the concrete to be delivered.  Once the concrete truck arrived, they went back to work pouring the sidewalk, then waited for it to set.  Once set, they finished off the top, and then removed the forms and backfilled the dirt.  It all went very smoothly.

The sidewalk is PERFECT and just what I wanted.  Thanks so much to Mike and his entire crew for doing such a wonderful job,

I spoke with my neighbors the following morning who watched the entire process from their kitchen.  They were so impressed with the TMC crew, and all of the trucks, and how quickly they all worked.  They wished that they had needed concrete work done, too.  They were so funny.  So, TMC has gained some fans in my neighborhood.  Hopefully some of them took down the company's name from their trucks or will stop by and ask me for the name if they need work done on their homes.

This is a family business, and I enjoyed speaking with Mike's dad, also, while they were waiting for the concrete truck.  He was very patient with all of my questions. Mike and the TMC crew did an exceptional job and I'm sure added value to my house.  But more than that -- I don't have to cringe every time I walk around that side of my house, and the neighbors now have a nice view out their window.

"Plymouth did a fantastic job installing a walkway, a few paver pads, and flower beds. We also had them install a pond. Everything worked well in the beginning except that there seemed to be a slow leak. They worked on the issue with us last year but were not able to determine the cause of the leak, so we had an auto-fill line put in. This year, when using it, it did not stop automatically and the hose wasn't clamped so the water pressure blew the skimmer off the pipe. They stopped answering my calls about this issue so I had to get another company to come in and fix it."

"This work took place in my parents' basement, which is filled with decades' worth of stuff.  We'd always had water in the basement after heavy rains.  Sometimes it was just a matter of a damp floor or a puddle in one corner, but other times there was so much standing water that they could fill and empty a large Shop Vac more than once.  After years of my parents coping with the water themselves, we are preparing to sell the home, and we knew that buyers might be scared away by a damp/wet basement.  So I researched local basement waterproofing companies on Angie's List, and after obtaining two quotes from highly regarded companies, we decided to hire AJ.  

On the appointed day, AJ and crew arrived on time and immediately got to work moving items away from the walls.  They wrapped the items in the center and the stairway leading up to the main floor of the house to prevent dust intrusion.  They temporarily installed fans to blow out dust  while using the jackhammer.

They chiseled out a trench, neatly channeled around two water tanks next to the wall, hauled out the broken concrete, and drilled holes in the cinderblock foundation for the water to drain into the trench.  They set the perforated PVC drain pipe and backfilled with crushed stone, installed a membrane on the wall to direct any other water into the trench, installed a sump pump, and installed plumbing to discharge water to the outside of the home.  All of this took several hours.  I didn't watch every step of the process, but they called me downstairs to show me their progress after having sprayed down the walls with an antimicrobial substance.  At that point they were in the process of backfilling over the crushed stone bed with concrete.  The concrete work was neatly done and the crew cleaned up all the plastic sheeting they had used.  

It seemed to me that the crew worked efficiently together.  There didn't seem to be any lag time because there were always multiple tasks being completed at the same time.  I think that's how the entire job could be completed in one day.  It's a relief to finally have this problem addressed and I feel confident that this basement will not have water intrusion problems anymore.  "
