"The people were respectful and nice, but some mistakes were made in the initial bidding, and some of the work early on caused more costly repairs to be needed. I had to have workers and sales representative come back out on a different day to complete the job. I also had to agree to loosing some warranties and guarantees of work holding up over time and/or fixing the initial leak issue unless I agreed to pay double the planned costs to complete the project.properly. The solution recommended to us seems to he helping so far, but isn't very asthectucaly pleasing on the our front porch of our home. Also workers posted out a trip hazard on out sidewalk due to land settlement and I even mentioned it to our sales representative. Surprisingly he didn't offer fixing it or selling me options for fixing it. I found this very odd since it's one.of their companies biggest selling/marketing campaigns?"

"Perfect job! First time they came out they determined the problem was in the gasline encased in stonework. Recommended getting a stonemason to chip away the rock, expose the line. Lined up the stonemason and phoned Jamison to make the appointment. Owner of company told me he would personally come out at the time of the stonemason to make sure no more stone than necessary removed. He did so. After rock removed, one of Jamison's plumbers came out, replaced the gasline (obstructed w/years of corrosion) and replace the ignition switch, reassembled the burner and ignited the pit. This company has first class workers and know what they are doing! Highly recommend for complicated jobs, such as this one! Thanks!

"I had never cleaned our air ducts (and apparently neither did the two sets of previous owners) so the Living Social offer caught my eye.
 $39 ($269 value) for an air duct cleaning of up to 12 vents, one return vent, and one main duct with an analysis and camera inspection of your HVAC system
Unfortunately, I was frankly disappointed to find out that the offer did not cover other additional expenses. But this was more a factor of my ignorance of air duct cleaning pricing (as I subsequently discussed with a neighbor who had similar work done from another contractor). Ultimately I still felt we got our money's worth especially with a discount from Steve who performed the work and turned out to be the majority owner of the business.
Steve was very personable, seemed conscientious about his work and proud of his business. I enjoyed chatting with him and learning not only about the resourceful tool innovations he has introduced into his work but also about his personal interests and hobbies in the course of our conversation during the couple of hours of the job. He was helpful and responsive when I called him back to clarify some details about the air filters I needed to buy.
