The tricky part about repairing pavers is getting things back the way they were. (The last time we hired a company for a similar job, we were told it was too hard to get pavers back in their original position, so we should really just replace everything. Puh-lease.) Juan had a system down for making sure all the pavers went back to their original place. He and his crew thoroughly cleaned out the old sand, moss and weeds that had taken over. They reinforced the repaired sections to ensure things stay where they are. They tidied up after themselves every day. (The only thing that was messy was the powerwashing. It blows a lot of gunk everywhere. Totally NOT their fault. Just mentioning it so that you are prepared if you are considering similar work. Move as much as you can - planters, furniture, etc. -- well out of the way.) The end result is a gorgeous patio and sidewalk that look brand-new. Even my 11-year-old was impressed. ;-) It rained the day after they finished - the lake is gone! This project was well worth every penny we paid. There is no way we ever could have done this job ourselves - much less done it to the level of excellence they did. I was so pleased with the work that they did that we asked them to bid on a second job before they finished the first one.
