"Steve is probably the most attentive and responsive service provider I have ever worked with. Steve was hired to makeover the entire front and backyard. His hardscape team run by Malica is top knotch. They had a lot of great ideas in addition to doing high quality work. There were some issues with a few of the stones being loose and the team including Steve have been super responsive to remedy the situation at no charge expeditiously. With the landscaping, there were issues that happened outside of Steve’s control but he quickly remedied the situation even though it wasn’t his fault but an issue with onion grass growing out of control through the mulch. Steve quickly came to my rescue then and when some flowers/bushes he planted in November didn’t come in, he fixed that also at no extra charge. Steve may seem expensive at first but I priced him compared to others and it was comparable and the level of service was extraordinary. Between Steve’s responsiveness and professionalism, I can’t say enough about how pleased I am with finding him through Angie’s list. I would highly recommend him for any landscaping or hardscape work needed."

"What an incredible experience from start to finish. Ted the owner came out for a free estimate and explained everything very well. He knew what would work best for the issue I was having in the basement and showed me other problems that could be repaired as well. Not knowing how much Waterproofing a basement cost I got a second estimate and Desert Dry was close to $2,000 cheaper. Desert Dry also, disconnects, moves and covers everything in the basement before working. Ted and crew worked very hard to waterproof the entire basement in a timely matter. They also reconnect everything and did a great job cleaning up once finished. Very satisfied with the work performed and I highly recommend Desert Dry."

"Basement Gurus arrived to discuss our basement water issue. Dan patiently went over everything and listened to our concerns and answered our questions. He prepared a proposal to remove 4' of our patio and dig down to the foundation to waterproof the wall and fill the cracks from outside. He also suggested burying a downspout and pipe leading water away from the house and sealing the wall cracks on the inside basement wall. The team arrived as scheduled and worked incredibly hard for several hours a day. They were impressive in the system they followed and how much work they performed each day and were respectful of us and our property. By the end of the job everything was back in place. We wish the expense wasn't necessary, but felt the price was worth it due to the difficulty, the amount, and the quality of the work. We highly recommend Basement Gurus!!"

"Everything went Incredibly well! I contacted Fred after seeing reviews in Angie's List. I was not at all sure what exactly I wanted as far as colors, patterns, etc. Fred came to the house and walked me through everything, made suggestions and demonstrated an incredible amount of knowledge and professionalism. Once we agreed on what work was to be done (I opted to follow all of Fred's suggestions) he reassured me that changes to the color and patterns could be made right up to the day before the work was going to be performed. He stated that it looked to be a 4 day job and described what would likely be done each day.
Later that evening I received the estimate and diagram by e-mail. I had received an estimate prior to calling Fred from a company that used EP Henry. Fred's estimate was half of what the other estimate was, and Fred's estimate included the 35 ft sidewalk, which was not a part of the EP Henry estimate.

I live alone and it just happened that I found out at the last minute that I had to go out of town and would not be back until the afternoon of the last day. Fred reassured me I had nothing to worry about. He was right. I came home the afternoon of the last day of work and Fred and his team had just left. Everything looked amazing! Perfectly done with a lot of pride. Everything was neat and clean. Neighbors stopped by to tell me how great everything looked and how professional Fred's team was. To top it off, my neighbor asked Fred, while he was doing the contracted work, if he would also look at replacing an old patio pad in the back. Fred's guys got that done too!

What I particularly appreciated about the sales process was how Mike worked with me to balance cost and efficacy. Regardless of what you decide to do, I would recommend at least getting a bid from Quality 1st. Additionally, on the day of installation, Mike arrived to help communicate the plan with Wilbur (crew lead) because of the complex nature of my foundational repair. Note: in between the 1st and 2nd job I had a structural engineer review my home and he specifically commented that he approved of the work done by Wilbur and his crew at Quality 1st. He noted that all other work previously done by the former home owners had serious flaws."
