"Let me start by telling you my backstory. I live in a house built in 1929, it has a stone foundation. It wasn't until Hurricane Sandy that I felt the effects of a house that had no waterproofing and we had about three feet of water. We did a little bit of mitigation, and had no more problems for awhile. More recently, NY had five days of non stop rain and the walls in basement and flooring barely held it together. So that's when I knew I really had to do something. Every time we heard the weather report we would keep checking that basement and our little water pump. The water pump did ok, but we had wet vacs and worked like a team, but the water was coming up through the floors. Just a little 2-3 inches can cause so much damage. This is climate change, a lot of my friends were suffering from flooding for the first time and it wasn't going to get any better. So that was it, my husband and I interviewed four different places. They were all professional, but there was something about the detailed 2 hour interview that Scott Cort, one of their top inspectors did with us and we knew that was the place we were going to deal with. Plus he dealt with a multitude of questions from my husband and didn't flinch. He was patient, showed us exactly what they would do to protect the basement from flooding. He saw how stressed I was and just plain tired of this. It was a very comprehensive plan. Scott explained the lifetime warranty. The system is self-cleaning and requires zero maintenance. There is also a clog free guarantee. It included a PITBOSS waterpump with a wifi system and a backup battery in case the power goes out. He also told me that there would be very little dust. And there was very little dust. It only took two full days of his crew working nonstop. I was a bit nervous about cutting the walls, but he picked up the phone every time I called. If he was busy, he texted me right away and got back to me in 30 minutes. (And I call a lot). I am happy with the results. My contractor checked it out and said American Dry did a great job after dropping by to see the results. And most of all, we can sleep when it rains. We are ready!!! "To summarize quickly, I cannot speak highly enough of Diggs Building Technologies. I am absolutely blown away by what they accomplished and would hire them again without hesitation. Worth every penny. For the past 5 years, I have been restoring/rennovating a 1890 Balloon Frame Colonial in Tillson, NY. While the original house foundation was extremely well built and well-mainted, I canâ t say that much about the 2 story enclosed porch put on in the 1920â sâ ¦ The foundation was crumbling; the first floor walls were bowing out and the floor had settled 3+ inches. To further complicate the matter, all the mechnicals of the house (water, sewage, and gas) ran through that back porch foundation making the project extremely complex in scope. Despite these massive issues on the first floor, the 2nd floor of the porch was in great shape and it was important for us to find a builder who could rebuild the entire bottom half of the structure while also preserving the top. This was no small feat. Much to my surprise, Tim and his crew (alongside their engineer) were able to do just that. With precision, they navigated the mechanicals, removed the old foundation and floor and then went on to replace both of those elements. While doing this, the room above stayed untouched. Not one crack on the walls, not one bow in the floor, and shockingly - all 4 of the original casement windows still opened and close. Overall, they did an excellent job and I would hire them without hesitation again. If you are dealing with any foundation issues, I encourage you to hire Tim, Jake, and Jesse. They are the only team I would trust doing this type of work."

I had already used Tigasi Home Improvement for a smaller Rockwool basement ceiling job and they were very reasonable in price, thorough and clean so I turned to them for this project. Again they gave me what I thought was a reasonable quote for removing old insulation, sealing gaps and then insulation, and Fausto explained the process well. He was very patient and understanding with my tenants' concerns, as access was via a drop down ladder in one unit's hallway. "Worked with estimator to come up with estimate. I have been meeting with several paving companies and have a good idea of the work that is required and how much it should cost. While the estimator has been professional and responsive the estimate was wildly more expensive than every other proposal. Most estimates for the work we need is in the $8K to $10K range which is an acceptable range. Palmieri provided a quote for $21K. Not only that but the quote was for less quality. All proposals provide for base foundation of 4 to 6 inches of base and 3 inches of asphalt. Palmieri provide for only 2 inches of base and 2 inches of asphalt. Keep all of this in mind when reviewing any proposal. Not competitive pricing after multiple discussions to be clear on what they would deliver."
