I was getting ready to finish my basement when I noticed stairstep cracks. I made a call and set up an appointment. Easy call. Representative showed up. We talked about the cracks. I agreed that we should wait and watch for 6 months if the cracks got worse. Six months later, I followed up. Rep came back out. I told him i was going to finish my basement and didn't want to rip down walls if it starting leaking. His concern was for the color of the crack. He set up an appointment to dig up that section of the wall. Crew came out. Sure enough! There was a 6 foot vertical crack that was eventually going to seep water.
