"They gave us an estimate which I was happy with and arrived on the scheduled day to complete the work.  One of the cracks was much larger than we thought so they needed to com back with a different product.  They came back but with an insufficient amount to complete the job.  It took a long time to complete but it was sufficient to keep water out of the basement.  Just realize that tax is not included in the estimate."

"Pat thoroughly inspected the property inside and out and made holistic recommendations to solve the suspected water problems. He was very professional and took time to explain his recommendations and considerations. Unlike the other companies I met with, he also provided options depending upon my budget and desire to start small or big and was willing to recommend a contractor to take down and rebuild the finished part of my basement. Overall estimate was comparable to others, approximate cost was for full basement and several windows. I ended up choosing a different company but the choice was close. I'd recommend contacting Arid when considering basement waterproofing.

"Our basement has a huge sloping rock in it-the foundation was built around it when the house was built in the 50's. Over the past 5-6 years, water has seeped in more and more at the top of the rock where it meets the ground right next to the foundation and rolled down the rock to the cellar floor, threatening to flow over to the finished side of the basement. First we put a new drainage system outside the house but that did not help. Five years ago we had another basement company come and they told us all we would need is a dehumidifier and that would dry up the water. We bought their big dehumidifier but nope, that did not make a dent in it, it has just gotten worse each year. I called CT Basement Systems late last fall and a very, very nice representative came, looked at the rock and the water flowing down it and was confident their system would take care of the problem. I have a friend that used them for water in her basement and she has raved about them and has never had a drop of water since her system was installed. I paid the deposit and the technicians came exactly when they said they would. They did a great job, were very professional and left the cellar area very clean in spite of all the dust that must have been generated by the jackhammering. I am very happy with the job they did. However, there has been one unexpected problem. Before the drain was put in, I had been buying absorbent socks, flood bags and all kinds of things to soak up the water. Now we just let the water course down the rock into the drain guard, which then funnels it to the sump. We discovered that some of the water drains down to our brick chimney, which abuts the big rock . Instead of continuing it's flow down the rock to the drain, some water is soaking into the gravel around the chimney and then coming out on the other side, where there is no drain guard, making puddles on the floor again. We think the rock needs a thin lip of cement to direct the flow down and away from the chimney area. So, I called the salesman. No call back. I emailed him. No reply. I called and left another message but nothing. I called the company and asked if they would give him a message to call me. No response. So, I can only surmise that they are completely uninterested in this, now that the job is done. I now have a mason coming to do the cement. It is too bad, because I was so impressed with the salesman when he came and also with the installers. I would recommend the product and the installation service beyond a shadow of a doubt. But the lack of customer service after the fact is a huge disappointment. I actually do not mind having our own mason come and do the job. If they had called me back, I would have told them that- I really just wanted to get their opinion on the problem. But they apparently just don't want to be bothered."

"Let me start by telling you my backstory. I live in a house built in 1929, it has a stone foundation. It wasn't until Hurricane Sandy that I felt the effects of a house that had no waterproofing and we had about three feet of water. We did a little bit of mitigation, and had no more problems for awhile. More recently, NY had five days of non stop rain and the walls in basement and flooring barely held it together. So that's when I knew I really had to do something. Every time we heard the weather report we would keep checking that basement and our little water pump. And there was very little dust. It only took two full days of his crew working nonstop. I was a bit nervous about cutting the walls, but he picked up the phone every time I called. If he was busy, he texted me right away and got back to me in 30 minutes. (And I call a lot). I am happy with the results. My contractor checked it out and said American Dry did a great job after dropping by to see the results. And most of all, we can sleep when it rains. We are ready!!! "Project Details: I had a couple flagstones that had come loose from my concrete walkway and wanted to get them replaced before this winter's snow started. Review: Luis contacted me same-day that the request went out. He came by my property to review the project later that day. After providing a verbal estimate he told me that he could get it taken care of the following morning. He arrived the next morning on-time and completed the work within 3hrs and included filling some cracks with concrete for no additional charge. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars across the board was that he tried to upsell me on ripping out and replacing the whole walkway for a while before I explained I just wanted to repair. I will likely hire him again for future concrete work and actually have asked him to quote me on a retaining wall replacement."

"To summarize quickly, I cannot speak highly enough of Diggs Building Technologies. I am absolutely blown away by what they accomplished and would hire them again without hesitation. Worth every penny. For the past 5 years, I have been restoring/rennovating a 1890 Balloon Frame Colonial in Tillson, NY. While the original house foundation was extremely well built and well-mainted, I canâ t say that much about the 2 story enclosed porch put on in the 1920â sâ ¦ The foundation was crumbling; the first floor walls were bowing out and the floor had settled 3+ inches. To further complicate the matter, all the mechnicals of the house (water, sewage, and gas) ran through that back porch foundation making the project extremely complex in scope. Despite these massive issues on the first floor, the 2nd floor of the porch was in great shape and it was important for us to find a builder who could rebuild the entire bottom half of the structure while also preserving the top. This was no small feat. Much to my surprise, Tim and his crew (alongside their engineer) were able to do just that. With precision, they navigated the mechanicals, removed the old foundation and floor and then went on to replace both of those elements. While doing this, the room above stayed untouched. Not one crack on the walls, not one bow in the floor, and shockingly - all 4 of the original casement windows still opened and close. Overall, they did an excellent job and I would hire them without hesitation again. If you are dealing with any foundation issues, I encourage you to hire Tim, Jake, and Jesse. They are the only team I would trust doing this type of work."
