"Let me start by telling you my backstory. I live in a house built in 1929, it has a stone foundation. It wasn't until Hurricane Sandy that I felt the effects of a house that had no waterproofing and we had about three feet of water. We did a little bit of mitigation, and had no more problems for awhile. More recently, NY had five days of non stop rain and the walls in basement and flooring barely held it together. So that's when I knew I really had to do something. Every time we heard the weather report we would keep checking that basement and our little water pump. The water pump did ok, but we had wet vacs and worked like a team, but the water was coming up through the floors. Just a little 2-3 inches can cause so much damage. This is climate change, a lot of my friends were suffering from flooding for the first time and it wasn't going to get any better. So that was it, my husband and I interviewed four different places. They were all professional, but there was something about the detailed 2 hour interview that Scott Cort, one of their top inspectors did with us and we knew that was the place we were going to deal with. Plus he dealt with a multitude of questions from my husband and didn't flinch. He was patient, showed us exactly what they would do to protect the basement from flooding. He saw how stressed I was and just plain tired of this. It was a very comprehensive plan. Scott explained the lifetime warranty. The system is self-cleaning and requires zero maintenance. There is also a clog free guarantee. It included a PITBOSS waterpump with a wifi system and a backup battery in case the power goes out. He also told me that there would be very little dust. And there was very little dust. It only took two full days of his crew working nonstop. I was a bit nervous about cutting the walls, but he picked up the phone every time I called. If he was busy, he texted me right away and got back to me in 30 minutes. (And I call a lot). I am happy with the results. My contractor checked it out and said American Dry did a great job after dropping by to see the results. And most of all, we can sleep when it rains. We are ready!!! "I contacted Antonio from Roger landscaping and concrete to get an estimate on a totally botched up sidewalk and stair job. I was in desperate need to have somebody fix the disaster that was left to me and my family, let alone my house. We originally hired a contractor back in July who made a total mess of my property and Home Advisor did nothing to help us with the mess that Joseph Arbore & Sons left here. I tried to contact many other contractors and none showed up. I waited countless days and hours on others and the responses and excuses were horrendous. Finally thank God, I found Antonio and his family. I contacted him and he showed up when he said he was going to show up giving me the estimate so we could decide if we will proceed with the work. When Antonio came to look at the disaster we decided that we would work with him as I felt he was honest and FAIR and the project commenced as we planned and as we discussed amongst ourselves. He and his sons and father in law are extremely meticulous. And it truly shows in their work. I must say that they really had their work cut out for them because fixing this mess was something that a contractor would really not want to take on. He completely redid the long front walkway and side walkway, redid the botched up stair job with bluestone, resurfaced the front foundation of the home and more. This has got to be the most reliable family run company I’ve ever dealt with and it was truly a pleasure. The job was completed in full yesterday and we can’t be happier. Truly professional at what they do. They also show up EARLY and work a full day. I did not have this experience with the other so called contractor. In fact we are so pleased, that we are going to be using Roger for our Spring project which will consist of a small patio, and much more. I simply cannot be any happier. At least now I can have people come for the holidays and not have to worry about someone being injured on the walkway. Roger landscaping is reasonable, RELIABLE and are meticulous about their work and for that I am MOST grateful. I look forward to seeing them in the spring. I highly recommend them. "To summarize quickly, I cannot speak highly enough of Diggs Building Technologies. I am absolutely blown away by what they accomplished and would hire them again without hesitation. Worth every penny. For the past 5 years, I have been restoring/rennovating a 1890 Balloon Frame Colonial in Tillson, NY. While the original house foundation was extremely well built and well-mainted, I canâ t say that much about the 2 story enclosed porch put on in the 1920â sâ ¦ The foundation was crumbling; the first floor walls were bowing out and the floor had settled 3+ inches. To further complicate the matter, all the mechnicals of the house (water, sewage, and gas) ran through that back porch foundation making the project extremely complex in scope. Despite these massive issues on the first floor, the 2nd floor of the porch was in great shape and it was important for us to find a builder who could rebuild the entire bottom half of the structure while also preserving the top. This was no small feat. Much to my surprise, Tim and his crew (alongside their engineer) were able to do just that. With precision, they navigated the mechanicals, removed the old foundation and floor and then went on to replace both of those elements. While doing this, the room above stayed untouched. Not one crack on the walls, not one bow in the floor, and shockingly - all 4 of the original casement windows still opened and close. Overall, they did an excellent job and I would hire them without hesitation again. If you are dealing with any foundation issues, I encourage you to hire Tim, Jake, and Jesse. They are the only team I would trust doing this type of work."
